do we need to add payment info before adding the coupon code? I press pay and just want to make sure another page pops open for me to add the coupon code, its telling me it will charge the full amount but I want to be sure theres a window to enter it

Yes it does, you enter the code in the payment window which appears after.

@@2gunzofficial593 Price on payment page is $99, you enter the code (you were sent via email) in the coupon code box given (best to copy and paste the code), press enter, -$99 appears, checkout total =$0. If checkout total isn't $0, don't pay ...unless the coupon code window has expired (which it is about to) then the only option is to pay.
