Air Nailer Fix: Cleaning, Inspection, and Reassembly

I'm in so far to 3:15 mins. After tearing mine down and reassembly finding no broken parts, I've determined it's dirty in the blowback ports. It's an 18 and this after my 16 had issues. Comes in 3's they say. Holding my breath. Anywho, the 16 is a pc and it is 30 yrs. old. My oldest is a Duo-fast stapler and it's 35, never an issue at all, and was and still is in continuous use. Thank you very much for the detailed instructions!!! I just repaired the exact gun you were working on and it works like a champ now. I had issues before and I replaced the interior assembly thinking that was the problem and it worked for a while, but I never ended up putting grease on the parts and overtime stopped working. I picked up some Permatex grease last night and just finished repairing it just now. Thank you for taking the time to do this video!! I am not a fan of KZbin videos for the most part, because being a professional woodworker and seeing what other supposed professionals are doing, it is embarrassing to us real pros. Much appreciated for the time you took to make that video

Thanks Mi M. Like you, I have found that there is a lot of clickbait and fluff on KZbin, but 10% of what's on KZbin is pretty good and is worth sifting through the other 90%. There are a lot of people making videos that speak with authority but don't seem to have the actual experience.
