I can remember buying the CD from HMV after hearing "La femme d'argent" on a magazine sampler, probably "Q" magazine. I love the entire album but this track just transcends beauty and life for me. I turned off all the lights. opened a bottle of red wine (Beaujolais, what else) and just had it on repeat and let it pull all these emotion's out of me that sometimes, for me anyway only beautiful music can drag out. Sheer genius, and mostly recorded on an 8 track machine (that's 8 instrument/vocal tracks, not 8 tracks = number of songs)
