Jamy Hang Nope. The gh5 is super sharp and this helps a lot. It is a pretty heavy filter but I personally really like it.

Basically anything that's mountains or sky I used the 85 because I needed the distance. Everything else is 35mm. But yeah imo the 85mm is the nicest lens in the rokinon set. For reference that whole sequence with the mountains in the middle was T22, I believe, because I forgot an nd filter like an idiot. But the image still holds up fairly well. The rest probably was around T2.8 I wouldn't recommend shooting these lenses wide open unless you have to, they start to wash out a bit.

Which lens you like better...35 or 85?

Good question, hard to say. It depends on the situation. The 35mm is a more general lens and I can use it in pretty much any situation, wide shots, mediums, close ups, etc. Also because it has a super close focus distance, you can get in tight spaces with it. Super versatile and probably my most used lens. The 85mm might still be my favorite though. You need a little more room with it but man, does it look good. If I can use the 85mm and it makes sense for what I'm shooting, I'll usually choose that first. Both great lenses though.

Lawton Meyer I have the 35mm native and went with the 85mm in EF Mount (with speedbooster it equals about 108mm). I debated a 50mm native or 85mm EF (to get that 100mm range) and decided 85 was the route to go for film. Both roks aren’t the easiest to focus but the results have looked great.

@@romentsaturyan5537 Lol. Well I'm glad that's the only issue you found. I can't remember my exact iso for this, it was a very long time ago. When I was shooting that day, I reached in my bag and realized I had forgotten my ND filters. I ended up stopping down the lens allll the way. Iso was probably whatever the lowest setting is. I can't remember what the GH5 does, 400, or 200, or whatever was the lowest.
