Rpi zero is cheap tho, not full version rpi. U could using esp32 for cheaper version too

Are you thinking of a SBC? This is a Pi microcontroller the RP2040, they are like 4 dollars or less. This is more or less the perfect solution as you can program in micropython or C++. If you were moving to mass production a ATTINY would be used. Also well done, not many go to the length of a custom PCB and enclosure. This is functional prototype.
