Home Alone: A very funny movie that never gets old no matter how many times you view it. Exellent characters, good plot, and overall good acting. One of my all-time favourites. 9/10

Christmas With the Kranks, starring Tim Allen, is absolutely hilarious. The plot is a little cheesy but Tim Allen's humor and the Christmas spirit are what kept me watching. I give it a 7/10 for being a light-hearted Christmas movie.

I had lived in the DC metro area for the first 30 years of my life and I just wanted to thank you for letting me tag along on your 'field trip'. It has been about 5+ years since being a regular in DC and it is great to see how much is the same and how much is different. Esp in the Museums :) TY

My favorite Christmas move is A Christmas movie. I like the fact that it was shot in my state, parts of it use my schools marching band. So that gives it a huge bonus. Besides the fact it is a great film.

I absolutely LOVE the Smithsonian Aerospace museum. I'm incredibly jealous that you got to go there! Have you ever considered doing a DC-area meetup? Most if not all of the museums in that vicinity are free, and it could make for a really cool day. :)

If you thought that was amazing Jon there is an even BIGGER air and space museum at dullus airport. It's called the air and space hanger. They have a bunch of planes just parked in this hanger that you can go up to and see. They got the SR71, the original shuttle, like the the one they were using as a test vehicle. And Concorde

That's the thing about the Air and Space museum or any museum in DC you can't see all of one in one day, even if you spent the whole day there. I've been on an aircraft carrier too, the USS Wisconsin or "Wisky" and it was pretty neat. C:

Elf - A funny comedy about an orphan who, as a baby, crawls into Santa's sack and finds himself in the middle of a bunch of elves who are happily making toys. The orphan is raised by the elves, however the similarities between the baby and the grown up version are hard to spot, but I guess you change allot over the years. The elf goes back the the city and finds his real Dad who is on the naughty list. A fun film to watch as a family but alone it isn't as good. 8/10

If you've never been, I suggest you try and get to Kennedy Space Center sometime. It's fascinating, a lot of really cool exhibits and educational stuff all around the base. (of course, try to go on a launch day, because there really is nothing quite like watching that tiny rocket being launched by a fireball at 1000mph into space (I cried, but then again, I'm a huge dork), but the center itself is also worth the trip)

Did you go to the Steven Udvar-Hazy centre? I preferred that Air and Space museum over the one at the main Smithsonian complex. It has the space shuttle Enterprise and the Enola Gay. It's a lot bigger and has a lot more aircraft in it. Also, I'm now thankful that I went to D.C. in the summer, 105 seems a lot better than 20.

I went to the Air and Space museum a few years ago and I've gotta admit.... I wasn't terribly impressed. In my opinion, the Museum of Flight in my home town of Seattle is legitimately 100% better. While the Smithsonian has a lot of famous airplanes, they're pretty much just thrown everywhere without a whole lot of thought. You should definitely see it if you're in the area. PS: We have a better zoo as well!
