Air Tahiti Review $$$ Nui Business Class LAX-PPT & Business Class Lounges

Don’t EVER go in an aircraft washroom in bare feet. They give you socks for a reason in business class. I worked on commercial jets for 40 years and the “stuff” I’ve seen on washroom floors would make your toes curl. Seriously. NEVER!! Good review, by the way. Those are very expensive tickets for an 8 hour flight (or two 8 hour flights).

I flew Air Tahiti Nui business class from Paris to LA. It was simply incredible!!! Even after I dozed off for a few minutes to awaken and discover my cognac was missing. I contacted the flight attendant, asked if there was a flight detective on board, and she immediately resolved the issue. This was simply the best flight I’ve ever ever had!

I’m so glad other routes are great as well! Thank you for telling me. These days United air crew is incredibly rude even in biz class. It’s nice that Tahiti is still kind. Turkish and emirates are also great with service 😘

Hi! I'm from Tahiti and I can tell you that the economy class is not comfortable, the food is okay (like rather good) the fight attendants are great, but the seats in economy are just horrendous. I've found myself more comfortable in older planes, be it an on ATN flights or even Air France. Its not just that the seats are small, is the angle you sit in, and the way the raw before you is preventing you from putting your legs in any relaxing position. Anyway, great review. Business class tickets are expensive, it's good to hear they are worth it.

I’m so glad you commented on this and gave your experience in coach. Good to know that airfrance has a better coach situation. Yes the biz tix are $$$ and I’m not sure we can do it again but it was amazing!!!

A long walk is an understatement. I timed it, and from the time we entered the terminal from our AA flight to the Air Tahiti gate, it took 25 minutes. And the walk is up and down stairs. So be mindful of that as you stop, shop, and drink in the airport. You won't hear boarding announcements for ATN in the hallways along your walk.

Air Tahiti is the Best! We rented an Air B&B WHILE in Papaetee the owner worked for Tahiti airlines and his place was at the top of a hill overlooking the port with an infinatey pool. I paid $96 Canadian a night. That was pre-covid.

We had to check our kids Disneyland bubble wands swords as 'Dangerous Weapons ' on Alaska Airlines from LAX to YVR. Funny in a not so funny way as we had to backtrack and wait in line again to accommodate that. Mind you that was 20 yrs ago, wow how times have changed.

Just flew air Tahiti for the first time… I couldn’t understand why the cabin was so extremely warm. I tend to enjoy when the cabins are on the cooler side, leaving room for layering clothing… both flights there and back were so uncomfortable because they were so warm.

Also, I would recommend doing premium economy, as economy is cramped and very uncomfortable.

I’ve heard their economy is tight. I didn’t notice the warmth, I too like a cooler cabin. I can’t complain about business class unless I’m on United 😂 at some point we want to return with the boys and will have them in economy for sure. We will try the premium next time since the Biz class were steep

I’m so glad you appreciated it. I love making travel videos but mine don’t seem to do well in the algorithm only my skincare videos do which is why I make more skincare videos. I have 10 travel videos I recorded but have not edited because the time isn’t valued like it is with skincare. I hope to figure out a way to get travel videos out while still putting out skincare videos. Thank you again
