The knives, "land in Scotland" so you can call yourself a lord... they're just fraudulent companies selling garbage that is meant to be a scam. Some sponsorships are also for gambling or gambling-adjacent products. I consider Dashlane and other auction sites to be part of the latter category, since most people don't understand that they're buying hundreds of dollars' worth of what are essentially lootbox bets with a very low chance of getting the item, which they then have to pay the labeled price for anyway. Their sites are set up in a very predatory way that I'm certain tickles the same parts of the brain that slot machines and other forms of gambling do. It's disappointing that so many content creators care so little about not promoting unhealthy habits, scams, and data harvesting programs that they will take anything offered to them, even after a company is revealed to be a very harmful scam (I'm specifically thinking about Betterhelp, which still regularly gives out sponsorships that people still take unquestioningly because it's easy money). Maybe they think that their audiences aren't stupid enough to buy the products they're schilling for, but they really shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

What you guys fail to understand, is that for a bottle with a straw, you need a hole to actually suck out the water. Otherwise youd not be able to drink, as youd just create a vacuum by sucking, which would combat your sucking and in the end no water arriving in your mouth. Some regular bottles without straws have a hole too, which is usually covered by silicone while closed.

I've never gotten the earbuds that are always advertised but I got the headphones and yeah they're not great. I got their noise canceling headphones specifically for that feature and the awareness mode only for both to do absolutely nothing. The noise canceling had zero affect and the most the awareness mode did was slightly muffle sounds. The sound quality of the headphones themselves were also not as good as they're always said to be. Sounded about the same as my cheap old earbuds. Super disappointing for how "amazing" they're supposed to be

What I’ve found is not only does it not work, but since the scent pods make your brain *expect* the flavors, but not actually make you taste it, it actually makes the water taste grosser because your brain was expecting something sweet. I’m going to go and assume that most “cynical” channels you mentioned signed their contracts before ever getting their hands on a product. What really gets me about products like this is the fact the the main point of owning a reusable water bottle is _to reduce waste._ These things require disposable and _un-recyclable_ extra bits that come in likewise un-recyclable packaging. Meanwhile, not only are normal water enhancers cheaper, they come in bottles that _can_ be recycled. Once again, someone tries to solve a problem that doesn't technically exist and ends up making a real problem worse.

I honestly dont get the point of buying plastic water bottles. Or buying water bottles as a whole unless you're going outside a lot. Plastic makes your water taste HORRIBLE after a while at room temperature, even after refrigerating it again. And they have all those nooks and crannies that get insanely gross if you don't clean them like, A LOT. I just reuse my wine bottles. Not worth the hassle to get special bottles when I'm not going hiking or anything.

I doubt there is any situation where I'd buy an individual bottle/can of soda where I'd also somehow remember to carry this. And, aren't soda cans easier to recycle than plastic anyways? Holy shit I was just about to suggest/mention FÜM. I saw a KZbinr sponsored by them (I won’t say who, but if you do see someone sponsored by them, please don’t harass them). FÜM immediately gave me “…isn’t this just greenwashed vape” vibes. Like, I enjoy diffusers and essential oils, but I don’t think they should be something you inhale directly into your lungs, even if they don’t have nicotine or metals or other things that cigarettes and vapes have. I think they must say that it isn't a replacement because it doesn't have nicotine, I personally think they are expensive (at least where I live) but they do have a 30 day money back guarantee which always is a plus, you can find the ingredient list for each flavour on their site. So I think it is more for those who have the habit of smoking or vaping for example when stressed. I would call it something similar to having a lollipop with the stick in the mouth and the actual candy outside. Also, what you are basically doing is just inhaling/sniffing essential oils right under your nose (as if you put essential oils on a little disc and then hold it a little under your mouth)

@@cee8ch It's full of water because he opened the bottle upside down, as said above the seam at the back of the bottle is to allow air to enter the bottle as you suck, so when you tip it upside down water comes out where the air is supposed to go in - The lid wouldn't have been filled with water if he turned it the right way up before opening. (The bottle is poorly designed and other makers have valves and such to stop water leaking, but Air Up doesn't). I own one of these bottles, and only half of the reviews are valid and are too aggressively negative for the flaws. I still wouldn't recommend wasting money on the product, unless you have money to thrtow around and want to see if it works for you.

What I did to get lightly flavored water: Step 1: Buy regular water bottle Step 2: Buy loose leaf tea bags (the ones I like have drawstrings for sealing whatever you put in them) Step 3: Put whatever I want in them, then throw them in the water. You get roughly 100 bags per dollar. I used to use a metal infuser but I just didn't feel like cleaning it.

I can tell you why I was dump enough to buy one of these. I used to be a Coca-Cola addict (a bottle a day) when it started to impact my health, I switched to coke zero. When I realized how I was paying for what is just flavored water I wanted to switch of coke zero as well and I just could not do it. I would never buy from Air Up. Not because it’s a bad product (which it is) or because it’s overpriced (which also is), but because I quite enjoy the taste of water. Believe me, water has a taste. Especially when your preferred mineral water brand does *something* to their water, ruins its taste so much that you completely despise it now and would pick any other mineral water.

Same, I absolutely love water and basically only drink water. To be honest I’ve never had it big for sodas but I did drink them a lot more before then now. For me I just love cold water, it feels amazing to drink

Some people have sensory problems, executive dysfunction, or other mental health issues that can make it more difficult than normal to drink water properly. It doesn't mean you failed as a human. Nobody chooses to dislike drinking water.

I don't have a problem with influencers advertising a product they don't use but when they claim to seriously like it and enjoy it, it's ridiculous. The nice thing about cirkul though is you can open up the flavor pods, rinse them, and put in whatever artificial flavour you want.

Another thing that puts me off with them is their no refunds policy. Like, I get they can't resell the product since it's been used, even just once, but at those prices it had better work or I want a refund. You're telling me they don't have some kind of bottle recycle scheme for this issue? It's that, or they need a test version of the pods for those who are skeptical, but not willing to waste money on the bottle in case it is a scam.

WAY less than other options. I used to drink 1-2 bottles/cans of flavored water a day (usually ICE or La Croix). Now I go through about 1 pack of flavor pods a month. 1 packaging pouch plus 3 plastic pods, vs approximately 30-60 bottles/cans per month? The Air Up is clearly the way less wasteful (and less expensive!) option.

So basically you're paying the "lifestyle" tax, on top of the tax for being dumb enough to need an item that needs refills, and on top of it all, it's just a bunch of landfill at the end. My oh my, but this does remind me of a number of other things that are also scams. What's next, they'll figure out a way to add chips that lock you out of using third party refills? Then it'll be a scam on par with printers and coffee pods.

I've seen people using these and asked them how they liked them. some said it was an awful buy, given it doesn't even... y'know.... hold water. and one guy said he liked it. I wouldn't buy them.
