I was putting the mount on, and even before I knew it I completely forgot to put the disc before the mount, then was thinking on removing the mount back off but thanks to this video I noticed that disc it’s not necessary at all, do u recommend on removing it and then try to put the disc?

Thank you...excellent description of how to use this mount. I'll have to say to all...phones with big cases or pop sockets don't fit in the mount. Mine does not fit with my pop socket . Will have to remove it to use the mount. The only drawback to this purchase.

The vent mount might be good for summer time when you have the a/c on, but for winter with the heat blowing out the vent, the phone is going to get hot and most likely overheat.

With the vent mount it becomes loose while driving on very curvy roads. I am afraid to tighten it too much that I'll break the vent! Guess I'll try the window mount, however I'm concerned about line of sight. Is it very distracting to have it on the windshield?

You can adjust it to a suitable position so that it won't block the line of sight.

I'd like to attach it to the windscreen, but I Driver several cars... can I detach it from the window easily and install in to a different windscreen? The suction cup seems extra sticky, not like a tomtom... 👍 thanks for your review!

This was an extremely helpful review. I need help from someone or will seek help from the seller. I had another very similar dash mount for about a year that I really liked but it wasn't sticking any longer, so I upgraded to this nicer one a few weeks ago. I was hesitant to use it on my windshield because it looks like it would obstruct my view. and my phone will be further away from my reach than is feasible if I need to touch the screen. I didn't even try the vent mount because that technology hasn't worked well for me in the past but I am going to try it now that I've seen how it works. Because of the radius of the extra disc, I couldn't find a large enough flat surface on the regular dashboard. (My previous mount's extra disc wasn't as large and I had enough room on the dash.) Because of the curvature I put it on the left side of the surface in front of the info display, that little cubby surface, with the radio/back-up camera screen at the back of it. So now my rear view display from my backup camera is mostly not visible (because the apparatus and my phone cover so much of the display). (It's a really secure fit, though.) I was going to try to move it to the right side of that surface hoping that most of the camera image will be visible from my driver seat perspective but I can't get that sticky disc off just by gently tugging (so I don't ruin the surface). I'm going to try again with a putty knife or something. And then maybe I can try harder to get the mount to stick to the flat surface with just the suction cup. But I'll try the vent mount, also. Otherwise I'll reach out to the seller. Or maybe I can find a smaller radius extra disc to stick the suction cup to. You addressed my concerns even if it was just to confirm my problems.

The only problem with my vents is that they turn when I make a left/right turn. They don’t stay in one place. Other than that, I love the phone mount.

Did you try to lock your vents? When you lock your vent, it can be better fixed.

Its a good holder but you Guys could atleast Put a little Alkohol wipe and dry wipe into the package it makes it mutch easier especially with a 30€ price Tag Doubleing the prices of other holders.
