Outside of her obsession with Okarun, Aira has had tremendous character development, I would even go so far as to say that she is one of the most developed secondary characters if not the most, and I like that they can even develop her character more with this theme of Her obsession with Takakura when she sees that she has already lost any chance to be with him.

@BJisus you mentioned twice "her obsession", but she does in fact love him. It's very clear in the manga. It's played as a gag for the most part, but here and there, there are hints that she does love him. I mean, I understand why you do it, she will get her heart crushed when Momo and Okarun are official and you tone down her feelings so it's "not that hard" for her and I get it, Aira grew up on me too. But she loves him. Jiji is going to be devastated too, but his character wasn't as developed as Aira, so it won't hit as hard to the reader.

I feel like canonically Aira is mostly in love with the idea of loving Okarun, she only decided she was in love with him because he saved her but with Momo she truly loves Okarun for exactly who he is, she fell in love with Okarun even before he got his powers and just was your basic nerd. Yes I hope Aira finds someone honestly like Jiji would be a great person for her and it would be a funny relationship

No, she had a crush on Okarun (just as much as Momo crushed on him since ep. 1) after he saved her. But just like Momo's crush developed into love, Aira's did it as well. I trully believe she is in love with him and when Momo and Ken start dating (or Okarun rejects her in a serious way, not as a gag like always) she will be devastated and that will hurt. That's why most people deny she is in love with him, so it won't hurt as much if it's only a crush/an "obsession".

I mean, when he met Momo she was saving him from bullies, made a bet with him to prove whether aliens or ghosts are more likely to be real and they had each other’s backs since. When he met Aira she flirted with him and then bragged about doing it as a joke as she walked away with her friends, tried to “exorcise” his only friend because Momo seems to be the first person to not fall for her “cutesy” act, nearly got him killed and only fell in love with him after he tried to save her and continued to be nice to her afterward.
