I really enjoy staying in an Airbnb in Makati especially all my relatives live in Manila and friends. My trip doesn’t take me as long as Brandon since I live in SoCal and take PAL 14 hours straight. I was just in Makati last Sept and going again in March 2025 for 2 weeks vacation can’t wait.

Metered Taxi's ONLY!

Those metered taxis are the issue, they know how to manipulate them when a foreigner is on board trust me. They can speed up the meter usually costing 3 to 5 times the normal rate. One example was our trip to Venice, cost 550 there and 140 back using metered taxi.

I always use grab. I was on vacation in Makati last Sept 2 weeks going back again in March 2025 can’t wait. Straight flight using PAL LAX to Manila only way to fly no layover.

If no points are used it was 3k round trip. The best deal is united premium economy. It's only a few hundred more than economy but with bigger chair, business checkin and better food. It's my new go to.
