girl rent your house out long term so another family of struggling teachers can have a place to live too... a whole neighborhood of Airbnb's is beyond ridiculous. We all know you make more money through short term leasing but now that it's making the housing crisis worse and taking up all the nice houses in decent communities, what do you expect? You never see this many Airbnb's in the hood... imagine all the ghetto neighborhoods that would get cleaned up instantly if that was the only place you could find 20 rentals in a 2 block radius

The fact that you think short term rentals are driving up. The housing prices is hilarious. Hate to break it to you but New York in California housing pricing has been ridiculous. Since before. Yeah, I have long term tenants and it's a nightmare. Also long term tenants are still commercial operations. I do think their should be a cap but no one is entitled to someone else renting them their house. Property owners have rights as well.

Mortgage is $3500 mainly due to abusive high property tax. Rentals in Texas are not protected by a cap of 10 percent on tax increases. Most families will not be able to pay this rate. Once Im am not able to run Airbnb then I will run a Homeless shelter to cover such high property taxes. I suppose you all be happier when I run those shelters.

I wish these peo would stop going after Airbnb. I love Airbnb better than 1 room hotel with not even a microwave and so many peo in pool . With kids I love privacy in Airbnb where I can cook food and save money . Hotels wants monopoly. Then they will charge whatever high price for one room without Airbnb . Please get them out of here, it increases crimes and unnecessary situations in DFW neighborhoods. It’s obvious it’s not their home so they don’t actually care what occurs they while people that truly want peace of mind and raise their families are suffering. These shouldn’t be party club houses, these should be homes sold to the ones that purchased them. If you want to rent there are many hotels and apartments in the DFW metroplex.

I wish people would sue you . Without str Hotel will have monopoly and charge u small price for one room with not even a kitchen and spend 100s$ eating out . Do the math u pos .Not to mention lots of people around in hotels . In Airbnb we can have whole house for privacy and our kids can enjoy it
