I know it's been a while since this video was posted, but I recently ordered D-Day Dice and was lucky to find a used copy of AiYP for sale. I've been enjoying watching your videos while anticipating arrival. I do already have the print and play of AiYP assembled, so I decided to try this scenario out for myself. You were, indeed, very lucky. I still haven't won. I do believe there was one error you made that made your runs easier: you're required to evade combat. That means that you must be in the target zone and resolve two event cards. If either event involves combat that you're able to evade, I believe you have to evade, then return and start the process all over again. That's what has hampered my own efforts, as I've had to duck back and then repeat the attempt to pick up the wounded soldier. I am basing this on the print and play version, and I've paused the video to read as much of the published text as possible. One difference in my version is I do start with a weapon I can use only when I'm forced into combat. Anyway, I really am enjoying your coverage of both of these games.

Hi, David! The retail scenario book reads: "As a medic, you have chosen not to carry a weapon. YOU MUST EVADE ALL COMBAT when possible. When forced to fight, you have power 0. Seems you're right mate!

You played correctly, and by God, were you lucky! I've played this Scenario many, many times and have failed often. I will add an optional rule in the next printing saying that you can ignore wounded soldiers on Location #2, just for lucky bastards like you. Thanks for the playthrough!
