Sorry guys but the video "Beach #9 - Marefontaine Battery" somehow bugged when I uploaded it and the last 15 mins were completely dark. I don't have the source material here so I am not sure when I will be able to edit that video and post it again, I might even have to reshoot it. Anyway, here iis Beach 10, and you will haveb each 9 to look forward to in the future!

After defeating the bunker, you should go over to the armored car, get in, and drive it around the beach in celebration. You are definitely on fire! I agree with your use of the Grenadier -- I believe it eliminates all MGF in that sector. It would've said "silence one MGF" otherwise. I need to start commenting on your Mike Lambo plays as well, as I've been watching those with interest. I don't have any of his books (yet), but his solo system looks incredibly well done.

Haha, a missed opportunity indeed 😁 Yes his games are awesome for a quick play session or when you're traveling. I see that he is about to update the graphics for his games so they will look a lot better. Looking forward to his coming games.

As always: great playthrough. You're doing it very good. I see all your D-day dice playthroughs 😀 Here is the story - in short - behind the actual fighting. I wonder if this map should have been named Hillman. Strongpoint Morris was a coast battery just behind Sword Beach, where the 3rd British Division went ashore. The 1st Battalion Suffolk Regiment was tasked with taking Morris. Only 3 of 4 gun emplacements were completed. The crew consisted wholly or partly of Polish volunteers. They surrendered largely without a fight around noon on D-Day. Behind Morris was strongpoint Hillman, which served as regimental headquarters as well as observation and command post for Morris. There were no cannon positions here. Again it was the 1st Battalion Suffolk that was to occupy the position. But here there was stubborn resistance. It took Bangalore torpedoes and tank support to defeat the garrison, which did not surrender until the morning of 7 June. Some historians believe that the delay at Hillman contributed to Caen not being taken on D-Day as planned. Caen was not taken until mid-July. There, the city was almost completely bombed.

Thank you mate! Interesting story which is completely new to me. It seems indeed that perhaps they mixed up the names and this was actually Strong point Hillman instead.

It's just such a shame you can't use these dice with Lone Sherman: the Pacific. (The dice for that game really hate you.)
