As a man who spent much time working Clansman Radios I am super impessed with the kit these chaps have. Great to see the army has some good kit these days.

To be honest their is some excellent content in this production and along with the rest of the series to cut and splice into a realistic ! recruitment video , instead of the last one which was an expensive disaster !

Very tough job! Looks like a really valuable training exercise, finding problem areas or where things are not working are probably the most valuable lessons you can have. Really impressed with the Major, who didn't feel the need to use jingoism or those trotted out phrases that so often get used. I wonder if he was commissioned or rose through the ranks?

The hardest art of jungle work is to move quietly. Trails are packed down and tend to be firm footing but if you follow it, you will eventually be killed by ambush, by mines, or injured. So, staying off trails is staying alive and ready to conduct a defeat or two. Moving like that means brushing against brush and large leaf bushes which make noise and move when touched revealing your position exactly. The underfoot material is often noisy because you cannot see what is underneath of what you see as a good a spot for good foot placement. You have to test it first before full weighting to see if what can't be seen will crackle, snap, or pop which will alert enemy - or if it is just a hole to twist your ankle or a trap ... It is slow, slow and cannot be done at night which means going way, way slower if you do, even with NVGs... You can only travel short distances during daylight and thus you can only hold out for a very little time after food runs out and you don't want to eat off the land: that reveals where you've been and that is a trail that can be followed. Then, there is the fauna aspect of waking at night to realize a 1¾Lb cockroach inspecting your crotch ... Jungle training is not for sissies.

Whats happens when using this equiptment in a real time war or conflict and you get captured by the enemy with this system, do's it have a destruction device installed so it cannot be used by the enemy ?

@@ethanwashington60 Much use to be a 24-hour cryptic fill which was bs and unpractical in operation. Clansman was completely dog sh8t to the user. I can talk old hat such as Crucible and Vengeful , a sophisticated computer which can record details of vehicles and their movements vehicles as identified and those of concern. Go to GCHQ little man that's where the NSA go. Lmao . Have a nice day and go sup some BUD light. Take care good sir
