Great video! Thanks so much!!!! I have a question, I read on the a320 QRH Tailstrike. And I don't understand why pack 1+2 must be off in an event of a Tailstrike?

Hi Sir Mike, I just want to ask on how the air is discharged from the forward cargo compartment? Didn't see a video regarding that one, I believe that the pushbuttons on that one are above this video content(fwd & aft isolation valves).

Hi Mr.Abignale Where are the fire extinguishers in the cargo hold located? Are they alongside the smoke detectors or do they have a different designated area? Are smoke and fire treated same or do you have specific instructions on how to tackle them? Why is the cargo smoke test not done every day like the engine fire test( I understand that the engine fire tests are more crucial but I don't understand why cargo smoke test is not that important)? Thanks for showing the function of the annunciator switch.....Now I understand it's function

Hi Aby, Happy Friday! Where are the fire extinguishers in the cargo hold located? Are they alongside the smoke detectors or do they have a different designated area? - Yes thats correct, the extingusher discharge ports are co-located with the smoke detectors. These arrangements are centrally mounted in the ceilings of the the respective cargo holds. Are smoke and fire treated same or do you have specific instructions on how to tackle them? - Handled in the exact same way. We actually dont have a way to verify an actual fire, just the presence of smoke. But it is assumed that if something in smoldering or smoking fire is either present or possible to grow further. Why is the cargo smoke test not done every day like the engine fire test( I understand that the engine fire tests are more crucial but I don't understand why cargo smoke test is not that important)? - I believe it is done every day by the mechanics during their daily checks. I'm not really sure why my company decided to move this test. I'm curious myself if all operators operate this same way. Btw, stay tuned for the next video. I got a shot of the ice probe at night for you. Cheers! Mike
