Hi Mukesh, thanks so much for tuning in. Gosh this is a good question and I don't know of any technical reason of why this really is. For some reason this is just the way that the parts manufactured made them. Does anyone else know of a reason for this? Cheers! Mike

@@MikeAbignale I looked into this and I think I found the answer. The two dots signify that the push button in question does not have any illuminated message on that half of the button (e.g. CAB FANS, COMMERCIAL, G/S MODE, etc. only have lower portion illumination). Without these dots, the crew might incorrectly conclude that a push button LED is defective when performing a lights test. Such a minute detail, yet somehow fascinating!

Hey Louis, this is a great observation! I could see that being a good reason to have these buttons designed this way... haha I'm the same way I always appreciate the small details

Hello sir! i have a question. Why do you set the Extract to OVRD when theres heavy rain on ground?
@MikeAbignale4 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for tuning in my friend! This is just to help keep water from entering the avionics bay.

Specifically, when either blower or extract pb is pressed, system goes to closed configuration so both skin air inlet and outlet valve close, therefore preventing water from entering the avionics compartment. Of course, there is a filter to prevent that from happening but they are not designed for large amount of water coming in.
