Hi, really like the video, only thing I wanted to point out is, intercept point arrow is not white on ND as shown in the video when above computed descent profile. It is white when, only NAV is engaged without DES mode.

I did a proper descent but cam in 30 miles away from the runway? Please help!

Well, I dont know what you are flying with, but if it is an Airbus, you can follow the decsent path shown on the PFD in front of you. It all depends on what you have entered in the MCDU as well. But a thumb rule is always to be 3 times the altitude. meaning that at 10.000 feet you should be around 30 miles from the rwy. Then you are in a good shape :)

When being vectored by atc, can you not use managed descent?

Nope. As soon as you are on heading you need to use open descent or v/s 🤗

Hi, question, from managed descent I changed mode to selected descent V/S -xxx, Speed SP was selected and regulated by me. Now reaching the set ALT aircraft leveled to horizontal flight and I wanted to get back to managed mode. I pushed the ALT knob but aircraft didn't react and went back to managed DC mode. What did I wrong? must I set speed back to managed before ? Thanks for answer

The managed mode are restored as you level out. If you try and select a new altitude and push the Alt button it should continue in MNG mode. - I can see this is 3 month old. Hope you solved it and sorry for the late answer :)
