Suggestion: Install a 90° fitting in the pickup tube, at just enough length to hang the pickup about a 1/4 inch from the bottom of the bucket. If you wanted to get fancy, you could use an insert that fits the lid opening, and add a either a collar to the tube, or a banjo fitting.

Feedback on your video: DO you ever tell us the purpose of all this? I had the Drexel FM160 pop up on an Amazon page. I wondered, "Gee, what is this stuff and why would I use it?" It has not been easy to learn this. I had to ask some people and they said its purpose is to add to insecticide sprayers to kill more bugs. More recently I find others saying it's to add to concrete mix. Another source said it's to help fight fires--foam is better than liquid water. Some KZbin videos seem to imply that some people just make foam for no particular reason. SO... What do YOU think the purpose of your machine is??? I'm oh-my-god-seriously want to know.

What is 4000 gallons of aircrete in terms of volume? I think most of us think in terms of volume. For example, how many 8'x8'x8" forms could be poured with one gallon of the Drexel? 42.67 cu. ft is the volume = 319 gallons => 12.5 pads of this size from a gallon of Drexel. The 4000 figure seems really huge. The "12 pads" figure not so much so.

Say bud I have an idea. I love the concept but hate the loss of integrity the foam causes. When the mix dries the foam is gone leaving air. Cement don't likey no stinking air. If you could get a foam to leave a residue with even a small amount of cohesive strength winner winner chickin dinner. Cement doesn't really bond to itself for strength it's strength comes from the aggregate. Your aggregate is a void. Your foaming agent is just that. It is intended to be used with additives to make the additives foamy. Also your cement is way too watery. Over hydration = longer dry time and brittle product. Try a 5gal to 94lbs mix. I don't know if it will interfere with the foam but I would try it. As for a foam additive it doesn't need to leave some supper strong residue after the bubble dries. Just something cohesive instead of a void. Remember these are little micro bubbles. Their strength or weakness comes from their numbers. Try replacing about 1/4 of the water for the foam with: www.homedepot.com/p/ZEP-5-Gal-High-Traffic-Floor-Polish-ZUHTFF5G/100619264 or a liquid latex additive. After the bubble dries it will leave an airtight shell that is bonded to the cement. It's harder to crush something if it's under pressure. Just Thinkingoutloud

Foamed cement has become a well established cementing method for many applications in oilwell cementing all over the world. A key factor to a successful foam cement job is an optimized cement slurry design. To achieve optimal slurry design the project engineer is working in close collaboration with the onshore cement laboratory. In laboratory testing, the foam stability is an important factor. In recent years it is claimed that the foam stability results from the cement laboratory seems not to fully match with the actual results in the field. The experience is that slurries seem to be somewhat more stable in the field than in the laboratory. Today, laboratory foam cement is created in a closed blender according to ISO 10426. The main focus in this thesis is to investigate a new way of creating foam cement in the laboratory approaching a replicated, downscaled model of the method that is used in the field. An open, atmospheric flow loop was designed and built with a tee shaped construction joint for nitrogen injection to resemble onsite foam generation. The results showed that the foam generator loop was able to create foam, but the bubble size was significantly larger compared to the laboratory closed blender foaming process. Hence a good deal of improvement of the prototype is required.
