What is the mix you use for the floor? We tried our first test batches today. 22 gallons each, 2 batches were mostly flops and 2 might have worked. I feel like maybe we aren't mixing the batches long enough? We ordered some of your thickening agent, hopefully that will help.

I don't add any fibers to Aircrete.

@@astlochh Fly-ash will make aircrete stronger. I never have any to test with. And now that we have Basalt rebar you can use sea water, and you don't have to worries about rusting.

I'm trying to find out how long aircrete has to set so when you pour the next level it doesn't collapse the lower bubbles (since it's stiffened up) but soon enough to not get a cold joint. I'm planning to pour upright wall panels that are 4 foot wide x 20 foot tall (x 8" thick) so it will take multiple batches to fill but I want to space them out so the lower batches foam doesn't get 'crushed' by the weight above before it stiffens. Do you have any idea?

Hey Bob, If you're making Aircrete using the additives I use, then you can pour 3 feet every 10 hours. What and where are you building?

@@AircreteHarry I'm in Tyler Texas and I'm originally was going to build an ICF house but think the design I've come up with is better / cheaper / more DIY. The house has a back wall of 20' and the front wall is 10'. I'm using 46' x 2' truss beams for the flat roof (made with 2 ea 1/4 - 2x2 angle iron top and 2 ea 1/4 - 2x2 at the bottom) each beam sits on a 4" pipe that's bolted to the footer beam and they are 4 foot centers. Each pipe has tabs welded to it for attaching the form panels and I'm using 3/8" coroplast to cap the sides. The coroplast is left in place when the form panels are removed and transfered to the next bay and the coroplast becomes an expansion joint and the edges that show will get calked. At this time there a big X if rebar between each pipe to stabilize the pipes and I'm considering adding wire mesh vertically inside each wall panel. The flat roof is ideal for rain water collection and since it slopes south solar panels would be ideal there too. Hmmmm.... Maybe I need to pour several bays between pipe supports, one after the other then move back to the first bay and pour the next level of aircrete because doing one level in one bay every 10 hours would take a long time. There's 11 bay's between pipe columns, front and back (12 columns including the corners) With this design the aircrete isn't structurally supporting the monoplane roof, it's just filler (and some insulation) between support columns
