Thanks for much for this. Even though I theoretically know what to do, I'm one of those people that need a visual picture of how to do it, this video is just perfect for me. I've had like 10 moments in matches before, where I happened to drag the ball through the air, some were completely controlled but just didn't hit the goal, in others I just completely lost the ball and went for a multi touch instead. Now I know what I did wrong!

I have to say this is the best tutorial I've seen on KZbin as far as breaking down air dribbling mechanically both from the wall and the ground. Great work addressing issues during the in-game examples also, the tip on using the wall and following up from above isn't really brought up in other tutorials I've seen and it's really helpful

Thank you, I've been trying to practice this for 2 weeks and just couldn't quite get my technique going, but your simple explanation on jumping off the wall has helped heaps. Also if you are trying new moves in Freeplay, try going to Exhibition, no bots, and slow mo mutator on.

Thanks im a veteran only and I can fly and I'm trying to master airdribble and move to freestyle early Hardest part: preparation I ether hit the ball too far or too slow and now I know that you have to be the same speed as the ball GREAT VIDEO

You should probably learn to dribble, half flip, and aerial first because dribbling will help you learn to control the ball and maintain certain speeds (not to fast or slow) half flipping will let you get back on defense quickly if you don't succeed with an air dribble, and aerial is self explanatory.

Very well done tutorial. I'm a little over 300 hours in playtime and just hit rising star in 2's and standard 3's queueing solo. Starting to see a lot more of this and have been trying to practice it. Still struggling with the initial timing of jumping off the wall and I feel you've illustrated that piece well here. This has been by far the best tutorial I have seen on KZbin. All the other ones I have watched, they don't explain anything. They just say you will get it with practice which is true but explain the technique first like in this video. Thaknks for the video

@Mertzy Im practicing airdribbles for a huge amount of time. (mostly im passing) I gained the experience, that its alot easyer taking of you oponent, when not directly jump when hit the ball an the wall. I usually let it go for a half second. 1st: easyer to get back when tackeled (not in air) 2nd: Look what your oponent is up to do! When doing a airdribble and the oponent is staying in the middle of the goal like a rock im setting up a double tap with the wall to make it nearly impossible to defend it.

great job mertzy ! BUT. What everyone forgets when making this tutorial : Roll the ball > go up the wall, crawl under it.. but then.. People say : jump or double jump or boost hit then jump. You also say jump but everytime i see you jump you use boost before.. Please be more specific, it makes all the difference in ball height / distance of the car behind the ball :P I cant get it right, so i can not freestyle just because of this

Octane has a better turning radius thus making it easier to rotate the car, also it's a lot more agile than any other car. I use the dominus because I mainly go for freestyle shots and I get more powerful hits with it because it has a longer front. Test the cars and chose the one that suits your playstyle the most!
