I would be hard pressed judging *any* dogs since I love them so much, but these are handsome Airedales. I'd really be treed. No pun intended.

Amazed the experts at shows will say stupid things like "they like to chase" , when in fact, they are terriers, and are supposed to KILL. Why can't they just say so--hey, I like em, but I know what they are, and why they don't recommend getting one if you have another dog or dogs, and I know, if you insist, you should get a different sex, so you have a male Airedale and female other sex, or female Airedale for that matter. Otherwise one or both WILL get hurt, maybe killed. EVERYONE in show circles know this--why don't they say so and educate the public? I truly don't get it.

That's because they're ignorant. In fact I've owned 6 Airedales. All of them with other dogs. Three male Airedales at once, then two male Airedales, then one male Airedale with 3 males Scotties presently. Not once has there ever ever been so much as a curled lip. They get along famously with other dogs, however should a strange dog attack you or it, the gloves come off. They are something to be reckoned with. My present Airedale had a back injury and was just starting to walk again on three legs, when we got charged by a pit bull that got away from it's owner. I jumped in front of my Airedale to protect him since he was on 3 legs with a bad disc and he jumped in front of me and took that pit on. It was a bruhaha and I was ridiculous enough to grab the pit by the tail, pulling him in the opposite direction so as not to let my dog get hurt. He didn't care he became a beast and would not let up.. He whooped that pits ass. All these years of having him and I never saw any aggression from him but when push comes to shove the terrier comes out and takes charge. They were bred to hunt which involves chasing duh right?
