Thanks for sharing your builds and your knowledge of these ships. I have the 1/600 HMS Suffolk kit as well which I am trying to build and I would like to know how you managed to drill those portholes in a straight line; how did you align the center point of these holes before drilling. My kit came with the fairleads broken because the plastic is so soft and thin. From the video, I guess you have scratch built the fairleads; how did you do it? Any advice is most appreciated.

HMS Iron Duke converted to a 1918 Queen Elizabeth... Sometime to ponder. Great conversion to HMS Exeter.

Ive converted an Iron Duke to an Indefatigable class battlecruiser, if that counts!! Only problem was there was quite a bit of filler in the hull due to blanking off the casemates, drilling out the port holes was not possible as their line happened to be olong a line of filler that tended to crumble, so had to paint them on. Might have to consider converting one to HMS Lion or Queen Mary.

Absolute insanity my freind! Classmate to classmate is enough for me most of the time but class to class wow real shame 1/600 was abandoned but necesity is the mother of invention our need will be our creator etc
