Hi skipper. I think that how you choose to build and paint them depends greatly on how much you need new Air rifle targets at the end of your garden. PLAN A. If you have an itchy trigger finger then by all means try brush painting the coloured sludge, with or without a base coat it will make no difference. PLAN B. If, on the other hand, you wish to keep your plastic creations for comparison or aesthetic reasons you have no choice. Real paints and an air brush. PLAN C. If everything goes completely errrr "Pear shaped" bring them down to South East Essex, I have a lovely Air Arms .22 which needs some exercise. Either way, enjoy, regards.....

The 109 makes up into a nice little kit with no vices. I used Mig ATOM paints which worked well and avoided the purgatory of the Humbrol pots, the individual Starter kit has a non-mottled paint scheme which makes a change, although I sprayed the yellow patches rather than use the decals. The P-51 will get built soon, just waiting on some decent metallic paint, I probably won't modify the tailwheel, just wimp out and have the aircraft on the ground. Good review, thank you

Hmmmm. Fusay-leg-ay. That's a nice phonetic enunciation. I bet Oxford dictionary guys will now rethink the number of syllables in that weird word 😂😂😂. Waiting to see the finished build. I'd use such a kit for a dogfight diorama. Hope the socks keep you warm. Cheers

My most recent purchase and projects have been the Dogfight Doubles with the Spitfire MK5 and BF109. Got the Spitfire finished and still in the process with the BF109 but both are really good models for the cost. I'd never done a war bird before doing more modern jets and armour so it seemed like a good way to dip a toe and see if I enjoyed it. Considering the set with the Wildcat and the Zero for my next set of kits.

Looks cool.

finally, a modeller from UK admited that humbrol acrylics are crap :D

@pawelpw1161 if I'm diplomatic about it - the dropper bottle stuff isn't that bad. But why would I spend £2.70ish for 14ml of "not bad" when 18ml of Vallejo is only £3ish?

@@VFCproductions Indeed, in general all paints cost same money but quality ma vary. There is no motivation to swap your tamia/mr.hobby or valejjo/hataka to other makes. As for me I just disovered why guys kept on talking "get yourself tamiya/mr.hobby" for airbrush and quit this water-based nonsense ;-)

The Airfix paints have improved but still aren't great and I tend not to use them. I would go with the box schemes as they look the best option and definitely undercarriage down.

the 109s tail wheel seems to be stuck lowered as well
@harrypickle357Ай бұрын
You get the option of having it down or retracted, nifty little moulding in the fuselage resolves that

@@harrypickle357 ah fair enough a little difficult to see in the instructions on the video I could have just missed it tho

You have kits with a decal for the spinner colour 🤔?
@VFCproductionsАй бұрын
@Tconcept rather than the spinner, the nose section around it - I think Academy have done it before and it's a nightmare. It's more that I think choosing yellow is a bold move unless you stock a good yellow paint
