Keeping the streak alive…

Finally back onto my main trumpet after a couple of weeks on vacation with a pocket trumpet. Boy, does the full-size horn feel far away! These long tones should help me t quickly get the feel back for the bank holiday weekend gigs.

....I don't know if that's good or bad. In any case, I noticed (not for the first time) that with certain tones (in the middle range) I allow my cheeks to puff up (slowly). Maybe it's a sign that I'm relaxed with these tones. In any case, it only happens with the tones that feel good and sound good. Today's session with the trumpet went otherwise well with the trumpet, without any particular problems...
