AirForce Texan .457 vs Bundles Of Printer Paper. How many pages will it get through? Lets find out! I'll be doing a part 2 to this video so we can test the Penetrator rounds vs the soft cast high expansion rounds.

I saw the thumbnail and i knew it was gonna be a good vid. The results with the texan is impressive and interesting. I noticed the 340 grain can fully pass through 1 pack but for 2 packs stacked or spaced out it would almost exit the first one and dent the second. It would be like shooting 1000 sheets. Same with the 500 grain. I agree on the idea that 500 sheet packs work better with firearms since it is alot of material. I've done the same using my hatsan hercules .35 shooting 1 500 pack and then 2 new 250 packs and the bullets would only penetrate half way into 1 500 pack versus a pass through on the 1st 250 pack and continue another 100 sheets in the 2nd one for a total of 350 sheets. So i think it's possible the 220 grain could penetrate 500 sheets if it's in 250 sheet packs spaced out. I saw a near exit and a bulge on the backside. It took 5 shots for my hatsan .35 to penetrate and exit the back of 1 500 sheet pack without refilling in between shots. I used 105/125 grain hard casts round nose slugs flying at 850/800 fps. And i had to put all 5 rounds inside a 2 inch circle if it were spread out theres no way it would exit. It just shows how impressive the texan really is. 500 sheets would not be multi hit rated against a texan even if the shots were spread out. Great vid as always glad to know your feeling better👍

Thank you! I'll probably revisit this in the near future and do some further testing with hard cast and my penetrator rounds. I think the solid core rounds may have a chance of passing through 1000 sheets. I may have found a way to make the solid core rounds in bulk so theres a chance ill be adding these to the store in 25ct packs. FYI I'm also working on a .357 version! www.ebay.com/str/proslugs

@@proslugsairgunammunition1710 nice! The hard casts and penetrator rounds should make easy work on the copy paper. I went to your ebay store and had a look. Im planning on getting some of your 360 grain hybrids for a new .50 on backorder atm

Have you tried making your own ballistics gel? I made a couple of blocks this weekend. Looking forward to trying out different hollow points.

I haven't yet but would like to. The last time I looked into it Clear Ballistics was sold out.

@@proslugsairgunammunition1710 I wouldn't mind donating a block or two for you to make a video. The stuff is easily melted down and remolded into fresh blocks.
