I don't care for the look of the Air Force Texans but it's really hard to beat the power that it puts out I still went with the aea 50 caliber plenty enough to get the job done and to me a better looking gun

Hi Scott, sorry for the lack of communication. I've had a ton of orders coming in right now and have been really busy. I'll start working on putting together a AP pack for you. I also just added .457 430 grain Hollow Points that will be available later this week.

I ordered this instead of the AEA because the AEA is 13lbs. that's heavy for an air rifle . I do have an AEA ELEMENT that I love , though , but the AEA Challenger .357 is really heavy , as well .

John...Where do you set the power wheel at when you shoot the heavier slugs? I.E. 350 grains and above.

I would try one full rotation from all the way in and go out towards the end of the barrel. I make numbered stickers for the power wheel so you can know where your at.

What's the difference between this one the "CF" version and the regular Texan LSS? Also, can you dry fire this rifle without issues?

seems like it would be ok... The CF has the 3625 PSI carbon fiber bottle and Its a lot lighter on what's a pretty heavy gun lol

John I seen that you left a review for the bipod at Airgun Depot. I know that this needs an adapter and I’m curious which one you used. I purchased the same set up, just not sure on which adapter to get.(dovetail to weaver)

So it looks like because I didn't have the adapter at the time I used the included swivel stud adapter kit with the stud removed. The Texan has a couple threaded set screws under the 11mm quad rail that I used to attach the bipod. I believe I used the original hardware. If you need pictures you can email me at [e-mail]

I love this thing! I had a couple little issues with the grip moving on me but was able to tighten it up and everything's been good since.

All of our slugs are available at www.proslugs.com The steel core Penetrator is a custom order deal because of how long they take to make. We currently have a mold being made that should speed up the process and make them more available.
