It's been over a year since your excellent review. How is your Benjamin Recharge unit holding up so far? Any problems? Perhaps you can do an update review for us. Thank you.

How come there was a cut in the video when you first went to turn on the compressor?

Looking for a system that can fill a 98 cu ft tank, similar to yours. I like that one, but it's LOUD. Amazon had one, a GK that looked almost exactly like that and a bit more in price. It said it was very quiet and now they sold out. How has this been doing for you?

I defyingly not recommend any thing from this company to any one, but long story shot I'm looking to buy me a new compressor that is Y I asked you if you thing this is a good choice or if some one can look at this message that it can give me any recommendations on one a nice one that I can use for tanks and rifles. thank you very much for the review, God bless you

So I find that all compressors get mixed reviews... some people have good luck and others don't! As far as my experience with the Benjamin Recharge, Its been great! I'm pretty sure we work this thing a lot harder than most filling 100cuft everyday! Based on my experience I would for sure recommend it! I think the maintance is key! Thank you!

I like it, great video. Where can I buy the tank and compressor from? Most places seem to be out of stock.

Thank you! Last I checked Midwayusa.com had the compressor. For the bottles my shooting buddies have Ben buying them used on ebay for cheap! Like $70 compared to $700-$800

Is the air venturi tank 90 cubic inches, not cubic feet?
@proslugsairgunammunition17104 жыл бұрын
Cubic feet. Its the largest tank Airgun Depot sells. I just checked and its actually 98cuft
@justPFK3 жыл бұрын
@@proslugsairgunammunition1710 According to google 90 cubic feet that's ca. 2548 liters. But It looks like a 6 or 9-liter tank. I'm from Europe ;-). So I guess I don't understand the US and imperial units of measurement ;-). Maybe it means 90 cubic feet of uncompressed air that will fit into the tank when compressed? ;-) Great review! NIce compressor! Nice to see more and more stuff like this, ie. home use compressors, coming into the market

p f, There are two commonly used volumes for these high pressure air tanks. One is the actual volume of the tank, also called the ‘water volume’. I see this convention used for most high pressure reservoir tanks on the rifle itself. The other volume is expressed as the room temperature equivalent air volume that the tank can hold when it is full. Larger storage tanks, SCUBA tanks, etc use this expression. It is common in the diving and industrial gas industries, as tanks can have different maximum fill pressures, and thus store different total amounts of the gas. Since the end use consumes the gas near room temperature and pressure conditions, this quantity accurately gives the quantity supplied by that tank. SCUBA diving is a little different, as more air is consumed with increasing depth, but they still use the room condition air volume with their diving tables. Confusingly, cylinder listings in PCP websites rarely specify which volume they are referencing. It seems to be left to the viewer to figure out. Another source of confusion can be the room conditions used. In industry or science Standard Temperature and Pressure, @ STP, is referenced. There are, however, many different temperatures and two pressures used by various groups. Just using pressure as an example; the European practice is to reference 1 bar, 14.5 psia, as standard pressure. In America 1 atmosphere, 14.696 psia, is used.

My Air Venturi Nomad died today when it was just out of warranty. Very lightly used, and kept well supplied with lubricant. Chinese junk. So I have ordered one of these. Probably will be more expensive Chinese junk at twice the price of the Nomad, but maybe it will last a bit longer.
@proslugsairgunammunition17103 жыл бұрын
yeah I think its made by the same people lol Its been really good for me so far.

It may have the Benjamin name on the case but I bet it’s the same Chinese crap inside.
@drmoss_ca2 жыл бұрын
@@MrBlah3573 I'm sure you're right, but at least it's still going strong for me. At least with oil/water cooling, and a much higher capacity it works under much less strain than the Nomad did.

Would've been a perfect video if charged on a empty tank, Just to give us an idea on how long it takes....
@proslugsairgunammunition17102 жыл бұрын
From empty typically takes 45m to 1 hour and takes two cycles.
@highlander2002684 жыл бұрын
you did this wrong this will damage your compressor, you are suppose to leave the tank closed and then let it pressurize the line till the gauge pressurizes to the level that is in the tank then open the tank
@proslugsairgunammunition17104 жыл бұрын
It only looks like that.. I realized that I cut out to much video around that part but only after the video was complete. I cut a whole scene there to shorten the final. Thanks for heads up though.
@highlander2002683 жыл бұрын
@Baby Sherman personally i use royal purple oil, and a tank about 100 usually, or an scba tank, yeah close the valves on the compressor and tank and let the pressure build up that matches the pressure in the tank and compressor guage then open the valve on the tank , you just do not want a sudden jump in pressure
