Once when I was in high school, which was 14 years ago there was one idiot who didn't even know the f word, he was a jerk to me but asked for my help - so I wrote down for him "I'd like to f my teacher". When he handled over her that sheet of paper I couldn't stop laughing (although silently to not make her suspicious of me). I am appalled by the number of young people who don't know English that much or are gamers but almost everything is localized so they can play in Polish. American/English games are always better in their native tongue. For example Skyrim - English has all sorts of accents from around the world or even the States alone have a lot of them and it's better to hear that accent chosen for the Nords as opposed to plain Polish, it just doesn't feel the same. As you can imagine Polish not being the world language doesn't have that Nordic vibe. I don't know how it would even sound like. Besides I hear it's very hard for non-Polish speakers to say correctly our words - I'll give you an example and give it a try in Google or any other translator: Chrząszcz brzmi w trzcinie w Szczebrzeszynie which translates to "a beetle buzzes in the reed in (the town of) Szczebrzeszyn" and try to repeat that. The only games I played in my native tongue were those that were from Germany - Gothic 1 & 2 or when I fully did not understand English - Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, but dubbing in both of these games rocked. Anything besides that I played in original, well, except for The Witcher 1-3 as it is Polish and the dubbing in it was phenomenal as well. Cheers

@@belladonnahigh9206 That's right, actuly I'm from Poland so it's easier for me to understand that formula: Chrzászcz brzmi w trzcinie, and I can only imagine how much pain in the ass it is for someone from the other side of the Ocean or even for those near Poland. I can agree with you about The Witcher 1-3 it is blesing for my ears, the best polish dubbing in my opinion. Also about that Polish teenagers I,m realy sad how they don't give a sh*t about even trying to learn basics to communicate with other people in the world, It is only about their future, sometimes it is a open gate to better life. @@belladonnahigh9206 As someone from the US, I can imagine skyrim probably sounded best in like, the Icelandic dub, if there was one. Lol. It's pretty much the same as old Norse. Very few changes. Also, Polish isn't too bad for me, I speak Croatian, as does most of my family. One of my Grandpas was 100 percent full on Polish though, so spoke that fluently, and could actually get by speaking with my Croatian relatives who didn't speak any English. There were basically just enough words that were close enough that they could Form this half ass hybrid language and at least get the point of what each other were saying. It was pretty interesting. I can kinda do the same thing with Russians. I love the Polish tongue twister though, that was one of my Grandpa's favorites and he passed away at the age of 97 about 6 years ago now. Really miss the old guy and I hadn't heard/read that since the last time he said it.
