I have the John Wayne Shootist collector pistol based on the one shown from PA. It got the Umarex Duke faux ivory grips I antiqued myself. It's numbered 333 of 600 produced. Came in a sold maple display box with JW's signature engraved in the lid. Also engraved on the back strap of the pistol. Check out my later videos for the antiquing vid part 3.

Well, I own all of them and I agree. They're absolutely fantastic. The only "downside" (for me) is, due to our german gun laws, I'm not allowed to buy the full-auto versions of the Mauser "Broomhandle" C 96 M1930 (M712was only the order-code in the 1930s Mauser catalogue) and the MP 40. They're only semi auto available here in Germany. But... hey... I'm not gonna take that too serious. They are and remain great replicas, of important hand weapons in military history.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😁

I have 3 and have been waffling on the MP40. SIG doesn't do it for me. Colt SAA and P08 are two gems! Personally I would switch the SAA and the M712. Other than the SIG I'm all in:)

A nice top 5 list. Did so not see that coming! :) I was though very surprised of the MPX getting there. Quite many has had issues with it (referring to comments and reviews throughout various sites on the web). I own the MCX rifle and I am VERY pleased with it. Lots of fun to shoot. Does take time to load the pellets - but it grants me better groups on target than my other AR styled rifle (which shoots BBs).. As someone else mentioned here.. The UX Beretta 92A1 could have been a possible competitor for the winners of the list. Hefty feel, awesomely tight but smooth slide action.. everything else but aim-on-target accuracy and an adjustable rear sight (that it absolutely would need). But I think it is one of the finest replica pistols I have ever bought.

The MP40 is a blast (no pun intended), albeit a CO2 hog. While one of my favorites doesn't fit the weight and feel realism criteria, I really like my Colt Python revolver replica. Great shooter both for BBs and .177 pellets.

I know people like to practice with replica guns of firearms they have, but they can be very dangerous to have in public because 911 callers can mistaken them for firearms and responding police don't know, shoot and kill. I have disassembled and rebuilt minimalistic CO2 guns from the parts. They look less or not at all like a real firearm. They are very small. One could be mistaken for a pack of cigarettes with one cig sticking out. I wish OEMs would make some minimalist types. One I like most is a CO2 brake barrel to load, with power magnets to fire instead of springs and heavy plunger.

Drop the sig, put the Mosin. And colt single action Army pistols (peace makers) are still produced and cost around $1200 but repro guns start in the mid $300 range. Just sayin thats all.

So?? When is your review of the M17 coming out? I just saw this picture on a Airgun Replicas FB group that really caught my attention.. In the pic was the Sig M17 belt-fed magazine .. Ok. Nothing about that.. BUT! There was also two 8+8 rotary stickmagazines beside it. So. Can you really use Sig 8+8 rotary stickmagazines (P226/P250 ASP) with the M17?? My guess is that someone just screwed up the picture - because the use of those 8+8 rotary srickmagazines in the M17 would just be WAY too good to be true..

The M17 uses 8x8 rotary stick mags, but they fit into the drop-down magazine, and are quite a bit shorter than the P226 mags. Our review is coming out in a week or so.
