Fun fact: Papyrus is one of the only fightable monsters who will literally never kill you. In pacifist and neutral, once you reach 1 HP he stops the fight, captures you, and traps you in his garage, which you can easily escape from and go back to refight him, and in genocide, he doesnt attack at all, choosing to offer to spare you at the start of the fight, which the player can accept and abort the genocide route, or attack and immediately kill papyrus. He kept his word to Gaster. He never killed anyone. Edit: Maybe. In the Canon Undertale, he kept his promise. Here, its up to your interpretation whether or not he killed the caged animal.

Well, later in the series, if I recall correctly... (Spoilers) When they're experimenting with Sans's attacks and showing how Karma works, the attacks don't hurt Papyrus at all, meaning he's never gained EXP, so that does imply he never killed anyone.

Gaster's explanation of Level of Violence actually matches with what Sans says in the Judgement Hall. In the exact words: "What's EXP? It's an acronym. It stands for "execution points." A way of quantifying the pain you have inflicted on others. When you kill someone, your EXP increases. When you have enough EXP, your LOVE increases. LOVE, too, is an acronym. It stands for "Level of Violence." A way of measuring someone's capacity to hurt. The more you kill, the easier it becomes to distance yourself. The more you distance yourself, the less you will hurt. The more easily you can bring yourself to hurt others."

25:30 Fnunny fact, Gaster's face is not hidden to anyone in this comic (S1, P2 and even asgore or alphys can see his face). It's just for us, the viewers, since we know gaster will fall in his own creation, and be ripped through time and space. So only us can't "remember" his face.

I feel that this is incorrect... if I remember, Zarla said something about the reason why Gaster's head is like that in the comic was because no one remembers him. Not even himself. So meaning anyone that knew Gaster before the core, remembers something but what that is they can't remember. we're seeing the comic though the telling's of Sans and Paps after all. Do to the core erasing Gaster 99%. Near everything any monster would know of Gaster is like a dream fading away to nothing. but this just be my 2 cents. I could just be rambling at this point. XD

Just in case it didn't get mentioned by anyone, the section from 18:15 to 20:50 is not part of the comic - reading through the comic there is no explanation for what is in the cage or where Dr. Gaster got it from - it just jumps straight from returning Sans to Papyrus to the fight experiment. Furthermore, Zarla specifically left the end of that segment ambiguous so the reader could decide whether Papyrus killed the entity in the cage or not.

once these dubs are concluded (because the people making them stop mid 5th season) there's another KZbin channel (Phoenix Prime) that does the whole series. Stardubs/Calysto ends it where PP is at part 130 (PP dubs are shorter too, hence the higher vid count.)

Well what Gaster said about level of violence is actually true, you can always make it higher but there is no way of making it go down, it is permanent just like he told Papyrus

Actually, a lot of what Gaster said about what happens when you kill is established, canon truth in Undertale. Sans explains much the same thing in the game.

Assuming Frisk is holding a knife in Papyrus vision... Outch, that hurt. "We will get out from here". Meanwhile, both of them having visions of their own death. Fun stuff, fun stuff. Here'sa theory of what might be happening on the side : we know Asgore lost Chara and Asriel and then went on a revenge plot with the human souls falling into the underground. But we don't know if that event happened yet or not. So, Gaster may be trying to find another way, like Alphys after him. Or, based on what the series is giving us, we know from Undertale lore there was a war between humans and monsters, and Gaster mentioned there aren't many skelettons left. In fact, back in Undertale, Sans and Papyrus are the only ones we see, and people are only assuming Gaster is one too because of his font name and his "sprite", assuming it even represents the real version of himself. With all this talk about living with your choices, losing the ones you love because you refused to act, losing the love of those persons because you killed to keep them safe... Yeah, Gaster might be going through a lot more than we may assume.

27:16 actually, i've heard of many that gave up on doing a no mercy run due to Papyrus words and his refusal to fight, while i have heard of no one being stoped forever by Sans or Undyne fights, so his refusal to aby by the "kill or be killed" moto saves him and those around them many more times that anyone that goes by it. The reminders that Gaster is not an inimaginable evil monster but a person just make it hurt so much more 5:06 that is their house in the Game. 5:32 as happy as he'll ever be, is not a perfect smile, so It's probably genuine. 12:13 In the game Papyrus is the only one monster that dosn't kill you, no matter what, if you lose to him he knos you out and leaves you on a gail he made whit bars to far apart to hold anything, if you keep losing wventually he hust lets you pass whitout fighting you. Even Toriel can kill you by accident if you try hard enough, but Papyrus just has that much control over himself and his magic. 19:32 i'm confident she wasn't refering to Sans and Papyrus.
