Fatal can only see people in colours/their code. He can’t see their faces completely clearly but he can see their silhouettes. (However some features are noticeable). If they don’t have actual code, they’re invisible to him. Ink is weird because ink code is a mix of colours, the less there is it slowly turns white until he has no emotions he turns invisible.

@@lamaoma Player themselves are not code but they are wrapped in it whenever they edit something. Fatal can touch people who are invisible to him, but I’d just freak him out. Y’know, like how we’d react to touching something invisible. Characters who aren’t “normal” and lack a code for him to see would do well in a fight with him (or just avoiding him in general).

@@lamaoma Ink is a rare exception as in his normal state he’s basically not there. Normally everything and everyone has code, allowing Fatal to see people objects and entire universes Every single second. Even if they’re code has been messed up, very different or broken he can see it. If they don’t have a visible code then something is clearly wrong with that person. Ink is the only character we know that can do this, but we haven’t tested how he’d react. And the comic hasn’t continued for a while so…

THIS is my LONGEST comment ever. Sorry in advance, buddy. You can read it bit-by-bit if you want. I've been writing this thing for the past hour-and-a-half of my life-- -Something useful to understand _"a Fatal_Error has Occurred"_ is that the story time-jumps from past, present and future all the time, so you quite literally have to PIECE the story together, and many people have their own versión of the timeline. An example from this happens during Chapter 2. The "main plot" is Fatal's encounter with Blue inside the anti-void. But there's a secondary plot developing at the same time, even between pannels, where we see the aftermath of the Outertale incident in Chapter 1. Fatal kidnapped Outer!Sans and is about to use him as his first test subject. These two plots clearly happen at different times, but which takes place first? - 9:15 No no, those are Echo Flowers. They repeat the last thing they heard like a parrot. Those are all of his victims' last words before being massacred. - 10:35 That is actually an important code message. _"_ __ _Do you want to run or save this script?_ __ __ __ _While adding files can be useful, this could potentially harm your script. Do not trust the source of this software."_ - 11:51 There isn't a canon explanation at this point as to why G!Flowey looks like... well, a Flowey-ed Gaster. But I have a small theory. I think G!Flowey is a fragment of Fatal's imagination, he merged the two people he hated the most as Geno in one person. Flowey, the original monster who tortured them before the human arrived. And Gaster, who throughout the entire story of Aftertale was trying to manipulate Geno to give up hope and join him in the Void. G!Flowey seems to be all of Fatal's dark thought personified, he's always pushing him into doing darker and darker acts of violence, pushing Fatal into his darkest side over, and over, and over again. - 17:08 I don't think this is so much of a Yandere-type situation, it's more of a mentally-ill man who is trying to rebuild his old life through horrible mediums. A yandere is creepy and horrifying. Fatal is just... sad. Tired. Lonely. Desperate. Just like G!Flowey said. - 18:17 SOOO, this whole next segment of Chapter 3 ties into a past side-comic. Here's a little summary of "FILE NOT FOUND". Ink finds a corrupted file that used to be an AU and goes in to check it out. There he meets Error, who is raging not knowing who or what caused this mess. Error loves destruction, but as he himself says, "This is a half-assed job!". The entire thing is corrupted so it's actually more work for Error, who's gonna have to erase file-by-file instead of just doing the whole folder at once like he usually does. In this place they find what used to be the Sans of this timeline, which we find out was a canonical timeline from Undertale, which only pisses Error more. Error tries to erase this character once, twice, thrice, with no success. Ultimately he throws a Gaster Blaster at MissingFile, who opens his left eye, showing Fatal's own red eye. Fatal had planted MissingFile there as a living CCTV camera, connecting himself to him so he could warn him whenever Error got to that universe, so he could finally have his revenge. The "9999999" hit Fatal gets in Chapter 3 is the actual attack MissingFile suffered from the Gaster Blaster thrown at him, which was transfered to him. - So, fun fact: Fatal's string don't actually cut through matter, they're actually a sort of meta-weapon! *They cut through code.* Fatal can target specific lines of code with his strings and erase them. A sort of more sophisticated method of erasing than Error's, who just erases the entire file. *Fatal's strings are said to feel like red-hot iron searing on your flesh and bones. And that feeling keeps going even after the strings released you.* - 26:26 Everytime Fatal is about to collapse and reboot, he starts saying his last words as Geno. _"Everyone is dead. I killed them all. You. Are. Next."_ - 28:34 The entire time Error is speaking through Fatal's breakdown, if you pay attention to what Fatal thinks he's hearing, it's actually Error's dialogue from the Prologue of the series. That's the only thing he is able to hear when in his white-eyed state. - Chapter 4 is the *most confusing* piece of media I have ever watched. The whole thing connects with two previous side-comics. _"Backbone"_ -Lavender and Thistle (the flower and thorn Sanses) discuss an incident that happened a few days ago, in which Thistle saved Papyrus from a "red and blue-eyed stranger wearing a red scarf". Thistle somehow still feels awful, and only at the end of the comic we get him remembering Poppy's clone screaming as he was taken away. and _"Five Nights at Fatal's"_ -We follow Fatal in five different instances where he's about to kidnap a few Sanses, although we never see the full details from their kidnapping until Chapter 4. First Fell!Sans, then Cross during 0.3 Part 1, then an alternate Swap!Sans, then Classic!Sans (who ended up as MissingFile from Chapter 3), and lastly Lavender, who's incident is left open to be followed in Chapter 4, where we see it playing out. -This is the point where it's revealed HOW Fatal was able to make so many experiments. After his corruption he got the ability to copy and paste files. He's been copying these characters, leaving the original one behind, and taking the copy he made to use it as a test subject. Also, there's hidden text during 35:20, it reads: _"Have you ever imagined a world where everything is the same, except you don't exist? Everything functions perfectly without you. Ha ha, the thought terrifies me. Please don't think about this anymore."_ This is an extract from a hidden NPC's dialogue in Undertale named "Goner Kid", who might be referencing Gaster, or themselves. - 38:29 Yes, that was, indeed, Cross dissolving into code behind him. He was pushed into a wall of red strings and his file was cut to pieces. - At 39:38 you can see in-between G!Flowey's text, Error's text as well. Fatal's mind is sort of adding Error into the mix that's G!Flowey in his mind. - THOSE LITTLE-!!!! They cut out the last part of Chapter 4!!!! I'll send you the last few pages on Discord. Thanks for reading, if you do end up finishing this comment, which I'd be quite amazed at. It's a lot of information in a short period of time, so I don't expect you to retain all of it, but it was fun talking about my favourite story related to Undertale. I've been following Fatal's comic ever since 2020, and boy, even I get confused at the timeline of events, and what's real and what's not. I think that's what makes it so unique and special to me.

There's actually a side comic that these guys have dubbed called "Five Nights at Fatal's" (haha, very funny) that goes into more detail on his... shall we say, methods. 1:05 Undyne the Undying reference. 4:03 What, you think a channel with "Sans" in the title doesn't understand comedic timing? 15:39 No one tell him about Sixbones. 17:18 I think it's less a shadow and more a silhouette. Although it might still be his imagination, we don't know anything about this Gaster. 21:37 That timeline's Sans. He's all that's left after... whatever happened (presumably Fatal). 25:37 No, he hasn't. 30:40 Naturetale, actually. I didn't know it's name until semi-recently.

It sort of makes sense that Gaster would be haunting Fatal Error because in the Aftertale Manga, Gaster would sort of be haunting Geno basically telling him to give up, to join him in the void, and other such things. What makes these comics both fun and also a little hard to get into is once you start one and you learn about all these different Sans, you end up falling into a rabbit hole of needing to read more and more in order to fully understand the different series. Then their are the spinoff ones that can also 'trick' you slightly making you think its the one you were looking for when it was actually someone elses version of a similar AU. Someone already said this, but yeah there still is a bit more of the comic left (I'm pretty sure that it got discontinued atp though) You could try reading the comic, but considering how messed up Fatal's text is then it might be an actual nightmare trying to do so (Also one more thing to add that's a bit off topic would be that Error is kind of a misunderstood and mischaracterized character. It might be hard to pick up on his true personality because his emotions and wants constantly fluctuate. In a way he's also pretty manipulative especially with the 'voices', sometimes pretending to be nice and all, when in reality he's just a broken glitch who's bonkers haha. He might be more complicated than he seems also because he isn't all bad, it's canonical that he sometimes wants to talk and have some sort of contact with other people who he tolerates. So if you somehow bothered to read all of this, you might want to check out the dubbed Ask Error!Sans comic. It doesn't exactly concern Underverse because I'm pretty sure Jakei altered Error enough to fit the story better anyway. You can watch it if you're just curious about the canonical him. Sometimes the creator actually expands more about him in the comments or simply corrects people's assumptions in general, but you'd have to dig deeper to find those, so just seeing the comic is enough)

Ink is probably the character who's voice has the biggest difference in russian dubs. He sounds much younger, charismatic, energetic and silly. Seriously though, most of the out code characters have more silly voices there too. It makes russian undertale au dubs kinda more comedic.

Even though these comics aren't exactly canon to Underverse (presumably), Error's design reflects this scene! The sleeve that Fatal ripped in this part is stitched together on Error's design, and is unique to the arm! I just think it's a neat detail.

I actually like Fatal way more I'd actually enjoyed if he killed Error instead If he can just copy-paste people to get code from, that's pretty "cool" in a sense that he's not actually doing anything "wrong". He just copies code of other people to use 44:51 This was never shown in the comic, and i doubt it would be that easy with the human Let's just say, even if Ctrl-C Ctrl-V works on a Frisk/Chara variant, he'd get a "Frisk" part without Chara that doesn't even have anything to do with Papyrus and contains utterly useless code with references to things that are no longer there at all "Frisk" part without "Chara" part would be entirely useless and unable to even fight back

You have to try out Undertale Mob or Mobtale, it is a classic AU. warning: the story board is different from the orininal, but some character relation are still the same. And please play Undertale, you're just like those cringey teenager undertale fans who didn't even played the game and starts talking nonsense about everything about undertale, like you do in every undertale video. You have no idea how many times head slaming while I start watching you react to "What the Internet do to Undertale?" to this day. Play the game, so you have some pre-knowledge about every undertale videos you came a cross.
