Bonza has cancelled flights through May 29 as it continues to try find a buyer to bring the company out of administration. Next, Qatar Airways says that Airbus and Boeing must do more by putting pressure on suppliers to limit aircraft delivery delays for airlines. Lastly, Singapore Airlines has announced record profits for the 2023/24 fiscal year amid rebounding markets such as North Asia.

So, are the airlines willing to put more pressure on the manufacturers even though speeding up production could jeopardize safety? Seems so.

Adding to my previous comment: the 747-8 is still planned for the long-haul route until 4/3/2025, the repair is very bad at Lufthansa

I’m curious - is there any precedent for an airline returning to operations after suspending service for financial reasons? Sounds like denial to me.

These airlines need to calm down. Some problems like the pandemic, have far reaching consequences, so they are no immune as companies. I doubt anyone is just sitting around not doing a thing, they have to make money.

Ive been watching this channel for a very long time now, but ive noticed the severity of clickbait has changed massively compared to a year ago, still fantastic content however! Just a bit frustrating, for example when you kept saying "BIG BOEING NEWS" when its somthing minor or an extension to something already covered Sorry for the mini rant, i like your channel but just wanted to provide feedback, im not sure if any of the comunity shares this view or not. Anyway keep up the good work :)

Lufthansa must be in a very bad situation because they are planning a long-haul flight with a 747-8 on December 3, 2024. The noise in the cabin - horror and the seats a big misery.

@stevesmoneypit6137 ah yes, were deadly during pandemic when qatar didn't want delivery. But a coat of paint and qatar needs them so they are safe again. Unlike Boeing, the FAA hasn't limited production of this very 'dangerous' plane. Plus two crashed...ah no...that was the Max sorry

Emirates & Etihad have handled post pandemic times far better than Qatar have. Mostly down to the actions of Qatars former ceo...

I heard that a man passed away on a Singapore Airlines flight from London Heathrow to Singapore Changi Airport during clear air turbulence. May he rest in peace.

The information related with Qatar has an additional history. As everybody knows due to the bad administration, lack of judgment, ego oriented decisions of the Former Qatar Airways CEO, Akbar Al Baker, who started the fight with airbus, they grounded 29 A350 for a period of time up to 36 months, losing millions, specially during World Cup Period. Adding to the previous they lost the slots for the A320 / A350, that now are planned to come into service in 2 / 3 years. So putting pressure and blaming Boeing and Airbus won’t fix the problems caused by the poor management in QA.

The passenger seems to have died of a heart attack, not physical trauma from the turbulence. The others weren't wearing seat belts. You don't know what happened to the plane, you have no knowledge or education on the matter or industry, you should really reevaluate how you think and what you believe.
