Having flown Air NZ this year from the US, I saw the obvious pride in this airline. You Kiwi's must really busting with pride on this new toy. I hope to hitch a ride back to Auckland on this one.

This is a BOEING promotional flight not an AIRNZ flight. The plane was simply doing a promotional tour of the region to help sure up existing and potential new orders. AIRNZ has ordered this aircraft model for future delivery. Great wing flex.

in a free flight simulator, FlightGear, the 787-8 is soooo the real deal. Seriously everything, systems, CDU, even checklists, you can fly with auto pilot/with youre mouse/keyboard :) Flying it right now, 5 minutes before landing xD
