I think these various Autel drones are great for the industry. It keeps DJI on their toes as they have to better them now in features and price. I predict DJI coming back hard later this year but Autel seem to have nailed it early 2022 in regards to performance and features for their various drones. Even if you’re a DJI fanboy like me, competition is great for the consumer overall.

@@keithy4129 Yes I have both and wouldn’t even consider an Autel drone at those prices but it will spur DJI to better them at least.

Looks like a very nice piece of kit. Look forward to seeing some more in-depth videos once you get out flying with it. One feature I love is to do with the compass which puts the controller/pilot in the centre, rather that the drone being in the centre as it is with DJI. I find having the drone in the centre and therefore viewing everything from the drones point of view to be counter-intuitive and confusing. I wish DJI would change that. Another great, straightforward presentation. Love your channel

Do you think the camera is sufficient for RE photography? I have Mavic 3 and Air 2S as backup but after wasting time with unlocking zones thru DJI, I am considering adding the Nano to my fleet for those locations in authorization/GEO zones. I had one mission near Louisville, KY airport (SDF) where it was possible for 200’ AGL but DJI wouldn’t allow take off due to the proximity to the airport even after FAA approval and unlocking thru DJI Fly Safe site.

Nice unboxing and first look at the new Nano drone from Autel. We have been studying the spec's of the drone for awhile, since it was first announced a few months back. I received my new Evo Nano yesterday, downloaded the Fly app. Went to start everything up and the Fly app keeps telling me 'RC Disconnected'. I've tried a couple of cables, no change. I use a Galaxy Note 9. I tried with an iphine 13 Pro but I had exactly the same problem. Finally I tried with my opad Pro (2020). I had the same problem with your cables but I tried with another one and I succeed to activate the drone. Except that, I wasn't able to update the drone, I didn't have access to drone, I couldn't take photo or videos (I had an sd card inside). I was only able to move the gimbal. Nothing else. I couldn't pair the controller and I couldn't update the drone manually through the app. Nothing is working!! Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Thank you in advance
