I see a few guys on KZbin who dance with those kind of skirts, and public perception ain't stopping them. So, go on if you really want to, but if you'd find it humilating to do it publicly, then just do it in your own time and space. ^^

I'm Mexican and there is a group called Mexico DE colores. They are men who have a folk inspired show and wear skirts. They are greatly accepted.. Google them, you should try

@@evegum but there is a problem with them, more then just wearing thos long skirts (which i am all for doing, for i am wearing a layer of 2 right now), but they make themselves to look like women with makeup, and other things. that's not good. don't get me wrong, men wearing LONG flowy skirts is great, but it's when they think they are women (or think they ought to look like women), that's where i raise objections but here's something good to see kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6CvfpKBo6Zga8k

lupita ramos hello! So glad we could help! The two biggest tips I can give you is to 1) spot. A very basic priniciple that will help you not be dizzy and also keep your body in alignment when turning, and 2) the ball of the foot opposite of the direction of the turn (if your turning right, the right foot stays grounded and your left is the foot you push off of) should be completely drilled into the ground. The only thing you lift is the heel. Also putting all of your weight into that grounded foot. It helps to bend the knee a bit. Hope this made sense.
