I have/had all three. Bose QC2 were excellent at ANC - when A-B tested in a cafe next to the Airpods Pro 2 it was like the AirPods were in their transparency mode! (they weren't BTW). Unfortunately the Bose had this bug where I would come to use them, for example at the gym, and the right earbud would be dead saying battery empty despite having charged them to 100% before. This was more than annoying so they just had to go back. Airpods Pro 2 are better at ANC in cafe environment than the Sony WF1000XM5. The Sony's don't seem to block out much more noise in ANC mode than when the ANC is in 'Off' - no idea why but quite disappointed in them TBH. Transparency in Airpods pro 2 is much better than the other two. Sound quality - all sound pretty good - Bose sounded rich, Sony's sound clear and AirPods have the Spatial function with iPhone - which sounds better all depends on the track playing to be fair

Yeah I think the Bose are the best. What scares me is all the complaints about one bud not connecting or all the other Bluetooth or charging issues they have with devices :(

Great review. At the 5:37 mark the AirPods pros sound terrible compared to the other two. It sounds like your in a tube. Is it just me?

Agree but there must be something wrong, sounded like they were in ANC mode. Airpods Pro 2 are actually the best at ambient compared to the other two as I own all three!

i have bose qc2 , so many defect this product, sometimes the sounds could be disappear , cant connect, u have to put it back to the case, then it works again but the sounds quality and anc are amazing

Bought the Bose but number of bugs is insane. So many errors while connecting. It's like they did zero testing or quality control on them.

@@NghiaNguyen-bb7yq I had to uninstall the app and use them without any app. With the app I would have 1 to 2 days of no problems and then I'd have to reset the case, re-pair 4 times, have one side without sound and even music playing in mono (phone mode). Nightmare. Without the app I haven't had any issues ever.

@@dhLotan I changed phone for Pixel 8 Pro and even a little bit before it stopped having problems. I dropped one on the table and it glitched so I just reset them both in the cradle and it fixed it. I do love them so much, Sony look like they are more reliable from what I read but they stick out too much for the ears to my liking. Bose noise cancelling is very nice. I often use them on the road without music just to remove road noise. At this point now that they are working fine (and the app), I wouldn't change them for anything.

The AirPods 2 sound strange in this test. Very anemic, like they are under water or something.There was a major lack of bass and even midrange, all I could hear pushing through was the higher treble notes mostly. I have AirPods 2 and they don’t sound anything like that when they are in my ears. Very strange. The Bose and Sony both sound normal in that test.

so you did the ambient demonstration but not noise canceling. How are we supposed to figure out what can block out a noisy roommate with a thin wall between us- if there is nobody talking about it? So apple does the best at blocking out conversations happening right next to me then?? Is that what you are trying to say? What is cafe or cafeteria noise supposed to mean? You mean like a mostly quiet indoor, or the loud kind of roaring rumble kind of cafeteria?

I’m one of those people who would report on it and I think they fixed it with the newest app update. I also think the issue came from iOS cause on iOS 17 no issues so far

Love my QC 2. However, when the car door slams, the slam seem to be amplified and pass through (: Same with strong wind, it seems to lower/adapt ANC performance/mode, then return to basically silence when things calm down. I gues that is intended?

I have used all three with sony i got battery issue with left bud i used bose the problem was some weird sound like radio when not listening to music but airpods pro are best better in price specially with apple get the apple music use EQ and boom trust me go with airpod if uh have iphone just use the right eartips otherwise they’ll fall out.

The Sony's are by far the most balanced. The Bose put away to much emphasis on the bass with recessed mids. The earpods sound like a typical apple product, blah.
