The First Lady the American Theater flies the unfriendly skies and wonders if this is any way to run an airline (if you got any of those pop culture references, you're probably as old as me).
Helen Hayes won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in the all-star action drama "AIRPORT" - a film that kickstarted the '70 disaster film craze. Jacqueline Bisset, Van Heflin, & Whit Bissell (I Was a Teenage Frankenstein) share this scene with many familiar character actors from '70s TV. Based on the 1968 novel by Arthur Hailey, George Seaton directed and wrote the screenplay.
The film co-stars Burt Lancaster, jean Seberg, Dean martin, Maureen Sullivan, George Kennedy, and Barry Nelson.
