FYI. I can install the Canon 600II in the international roller V2. It leaves a slight bump out but it fits with the 100-500 and two camera bodies with grips and multiple TCs. I have loved this roller ever since I purchased it many years ago. I purchased the international roller that way I know I am within specs for the majority of airlines. I can place it in the overhead bins or beneath the seat, which is where I place it.

Small point, later revealed, but at 00:06 you start talking about these two bags, but we don't know which one you started on.... the international or the security. We wait for 2:49 to learn which bag is which. Would have been nice to take a few seconds to introduce your products by name, then begin the feature presentation. Another minor point, but you could have used freshly unwrapped products, without scuffs, etc. for maximum effect. Just sayin' ... oh, and BTW my new Security v3 is being delivered tomorrow, I can't wait!

Good point, I guess with us being around these all day every day we take for granted that the Security is larger, we should have pointed that out - appreciate the feedback, Cheers. -- Simon

@@ThinkTankPhoto Guys, seriously... I'm on a flight this minute with my new security v3.... oh what a difference this bag has made for this shoot! I could kick myself for waiting this long to buy. I know its expensive for a bag, but oh is it worth it! Thanks Think Tank!

Would have been nice to mention which bag you're holding... evident later on, but initially, which one is which?

I love your products but this kind of videos need more structure. Specially about the differences between them, they are pretty much the same size and I was hoping the video showed me what are the main differences.
@ThinkTankPhoto5 ай бұрын
Howdy, bit of an old video this one - we do things a little different now. THat said, if you head to our website, you can add both the International and the Security to our 'COmpare' feature to see the differences. Cheers! -- Simon

Can this fit under the seat or overhead bin on a regional jet?

I can with the international roller.

I buy a bag to keep my gear safe and dry even more so than for an "all new" laptop stowage pocket In light of that, I'd really like to see you guys both jump on these bags with all the gear in them, heave them out a speeding train window and get caught in a driving rain. Thanks for the vid.
@Methodical2 Жыл бұрын
What bag will protect gear by doing all of that other than those pelican cases which most photographers don't want to deal with. You get the roller, do the test, and report the results to us.

Which one fits canon 600 F/4. I am using the airport accelerator back pack one for a long time.
@ThinkTankPhoto3 ай бұрын
Thie Airport Security fits the 600mm F/4 detached from the body. See our website for more details and photos: www.thinktankphoto.com/products/airport-security-v3-0

@@ThinkTankPhoto Thank you so much for your reply. My only worry is the airlines especially the small one in African countries whether that will be fit in the overhead or below the seat. In my Airport accelerator backpack - I fit canon 600 f/4 IS II, either canon 300 2.8 or 70-200 2.8 and 1dx MK II and R3. Always smooth in airports as it is a backpack but with trolley i am confused. The backpack is little heavy on my back with all these gears and while terminal transfer it really getting difficult. So i am slightly undecided. Any comments or suggestion. Last thing, my airport accelerator waste strap buckle has broken so i am not able strape around, is there a way i can get it in India. The bag is 10 years old and still doing a great job. Please help.

I'm trying to figure out why the international version is smaller. It's still within the 45" Linear maximum( in fact the larger Airport Security is only 43"). Maybe it's just Korean Airlines.
@SimonPollock6 жыл бұрын
It's all based on an average size limit based on domestic USA vs International destination carriers - in every case you should check with your preferred airline and work out what is best for you.
@flipicaneze6 жыл бұрын
Simon Pollock That makes sense then.

Can you fit a 70-200 or 100-400 in the deeper section of the International like you can in V2 of the Security?
@SimonPollock6 жыл бұрын
All of the internal sizes are on their website, so you can measure your gear exactly and know which one fits best.

The internal dimensions are on the website, you'd need to measure your lens and compare on the website, please, thanks.

yes put a decent lens in your over airport weight allowance the case weighs to heavy empty ?
@Methodical2 Жыл бұрын
@@mikebennett4922 Get a different bag or multiple bags. You need a couple systems depending on your travel. I'd be hard pressed to think a photographer has only 1 bag, backpack or roller system. Just like their lenses and other gear, a photographer has multiple items for different jobs. A traveling bag, backpack or roller is no different.

if only you didnt have that pathetic cutout for the handle. just make the bottom flat i dont care if i lose some space as long as my cameras sit flat!

Put a spare divider in the gap? Most people use that bit for gripped or pro-sized bodies. Cheers - Simon / ThinkTank

Hey Simon, thanks so much for replying. I am a sony shooter. I run 2 x A7RIII with grips. I was using Lowepro before but switched to your bag because i need a better roller solution and all my buddies were raving about this case. I dont like how the mirrorless sit with the uneven bottom. Maybe its great for Canon and Nikon users. I will try and put a divider down there. Thanks man. The other thing is with the sony body and lenses they just dont seem to sit right in the lens cutouts.
@SimonPollock6 жыл бұрын
I'm Sony, too. I'm using the Advantage Plus right now - it's not as deep as the International or Security. I was using the International v2, but switched. It certainly takes some organising, but once you get it right, you'll know. If you need extra dividers, get in touch with our customer service guys, they usually have a handful laying about - might help you pad it out a bit? Hope that helps!
@mickspawn6 жыл бұрын
thanks man. would you recommend keeping what i have or returning it for the Advantage? are you talking about the "Advantage Rolling Camera Bag"?
@SimonPollock6 жыл бұрын
mickspawn yep, there’s our Advantage, and the Advantage Plus (little extra space to pack a set of clothes for overnight) I’m using the Plus, but they’re the same depth pretty much. If you’ve just picked up your roller, I’d certainly suggest it’s at least worth a look (take your gear into the shop and try it on for size) I think you’ll like it. I’m in Aus and about to head offline for a bit of sleep, but feel free to reply here if you have any Q’s and I’ll come back to you soon. 👌🏻
