kudos to the bus driver, he has so much to do, the announcements, helping with passenger luggage, and driving smoothly with a manual gear!

In Russia, bus drivers even collect money and calculate and give change, right inside of dense traffic and with true manual gearbox! Though I'd be afraid to get ride with them. 😅

It is amazing how quiet and how comfortable of a Japanese bus provides you during the journey. I have travelled the exact route a few months ago and I was absolutely stunned by that. Cheers for 5 stars Japanese quality and a warm greeting from Hong Kong.

This Mitsubishi coach...the sound of the engine seems to come from the Mercedes-Benz OM470 series & the short gear-shift stick just seems too similar in 'feel' to that on the Setra & Mercedes-Benz Travego coaches ? I understand that Fuso trucks also use the OM470 engines so won't be surprised if similar engine used in this Fuso coach..especially after noting Mitsubishi-Fuso nowadays a German Daimler AG sub-company ? 1 thing they didn't copy the Germans is the notable lack of that greenish-blue tinting normally seen along the top edge of the windscreen...to reduce the glare from the sunlight when driving directly against the sun !

Drivers are trained to keep a low RPM to ensure maximum quietness so that may be the reason. I appreciate it

Japanese pro driver can handle narrow passage and easy to use manual gearbox smoothly because it's pro license need pretty high skill about that. it needs very severe lesson before on work for safety.

@@4376ED you need to teach the recommendation engine. If you'll press "likes" on interested videos and "dislikes" and "not interested" on all the other, it will be able to match you with people with similar interests, and recommendations will be much better. For example, I train it for about 2 years, and now my recommendations are almost 100% interesting.

I drive a bus in Buenos Aires and I can tell you that it is a living hell, bad driving conditions all the time (road and transit), people are rude, everyone drives like crazy, everybody does whatever they want and the list goes on... It's so relaxing to see these routes in Japan, I really envy how peaceful it is to work and travel by bus there. Thanks for sharing your trip!
@rudyardroxas45863 жыл бұрын
Tourist go-karts at 3:01 really do run around the roads of Shibuya. What an experience.
One reason for that is because the Japanese themselves keep their roads, cities, etc, like that. They take pride in keeping them clean, safe, etc. Wish that that did that where I live.

I've been to tokyo and new york city. And live in a very large yet not very dense city. Tokyo doesn't feel packed. It feels open, and empty at times, despite so many people being around. Compared to New york city which just feels cramped.

All services in Japan are expensive, but they seem to be worth it. Public transport vehicles are really clean. Transportation is cheap where I live, but the drivers are unfriendly and they don't wash their cars from winter to spring, so the buses are covered in dust.
