I applied for Axis Atlas last week. The day after the application, got a call to supposedly 'confirm' my application and begin kyc. The guy seemed to be noting down the address, salary etc. Later in the day got sms & email about rejection due to duplicate request. The neighborhood branch had earlier called for kyc appointment and then said application wasnt showing up. This seems like an internal employee or a data thief trying to make commission and messing with the application. I also read similar stories online for the same bank.

Thanks, good info. The thing about Axis Atlas is minimum 3 lakh spend is required for base tier, below that no lounge benefits, right? As mentioned in your earlier video, it is more suitable for 7.5+ lakh spends in terms of points/miles. There's a big list of exclusions on the spends that qualify for the tiers.

No, Silver is base tier. If you don’t spend anything then also you stay in Silver tier and get 8 domestic and 4 international lounge access. 3 Lacs spend is to get extra 2500 milestone Edgemiles. Yes, for regular spend, the Valueback is not good if total spend is less than 7.5 Lacs

Additional odd thing in the t&c document on the axis bank website is the downgrade from "silver" to "-" category. They could have just said silver, but the - probably means no category? I think I'll just ask customer support if I plan to apply.
