I watch from Scotland but originally from Darlington, 8 miles from Teesside /Durham Tees Valley Airport. You did well to find it. The airport was originally RAF Middleton St George. Became Teesside Airport (as beside River Tees) in the 60s i think. Rebranded as Durham Tees Valley (as airport is in County Durham) in 80s to try to better reflect its geography. Now back to Teesside. Most folk continued to call it this anyway.

If you haven't seen already, I thoroughly recommend Jay Foreman's Unfinished London series which includes London's airports, or should I say airports that slap on the word London as a prefix to drum up business, the furthest away being Oxford, some 80 miles away.

Ironically one of the busiest airports for private jet traffic into London is Farnborough which doesn't advertise itself as London

Round 1: Identifying this as Gatwick took seconds, working out which terminal it was took ages. Got the right one but wasn't close enough so dropped 2 points. Round 2: Again identifying the airport was trivial, finding the airport and car rental area took a couple of minutes. Where exactly we are was trickier but 11 yards was close enough for full marks. Round 3: Airports it turns out like to tell you their name. I know where Southend Airport is in relation to Southend so that was easy, but I picked the wrong roundabout adjacent to the Holiday Inn and dropped 6 points. Not happy with myself there. Round 4: The hardest airport to find so far but the easiest to locate once there. Round 5: An airport I didn't know existed! But nice and easy to find it. Fortunately 20 yards was close enough to get full marks despite the marker being wrong.

Overly excited that my home town of Stockton gets a mention! Durham Tees Valley Airport fact. The station for the airport is one of the least used stations in the whole of the UK. Oh and it's Durham because it's in the county of Durham

Is it an ex military airfield? Those brown brick buildings look very RAF.

Wow! An Opel Manta GTE hatchback (VERY rare sight, awesome things, the coupe (manta 400) was quite successful in Rally in the early to mid 80s. There's a hilarious German film called Manta Manta, def worth a watch!) and a Jensen Interceptor! Not sure of the Merc models but there's a Ford Granada in there too, early 90s model. That's a nice bit of street view carspotting right there. Nice. Fun game!

I played the first round no moving because I'm an idiot and I've been playing a lot of no moving. 50/50 guess on Heathrow/Gatwick and I picked the wrong one. I didn't realise I could move until the next round, the rest was ok.

Haha, was kinda frustrating watching you scroll around the map of London looking for Gatwick. I live in the town next door (Crawley) so knew exactly where it was, had to resist yelling at the screen 😆

Southend is named such because it is the south end of Prittlewell, which is now just an inner suburb.

17:19 Durham being marked on the top of the map as soon as you open it, you lets zoom in to the home counties because maybe this airport that doesn't have London its it name and is clearly small is down there.

Flown through Durham Teesside Airport before. Very small airport, quite charming. I'm no expert so somebody may want to correct me if I'm wrong, but you get lots of flights to Amsterdam and Aberdeen. I think they're mostly business and cargo routes. You do get a few holiday destinations but not many.

Saaaafend, as the locals would pronounce it, is actually not to bad to get to by train from Central London... Not much longer than London Stansted, or London Gatwick.

@@realnutteruk1 I'm so glad you didn't type "Sarfend", I see it all the time. "Sarf London" too, aargh. Literally no one pronounces south as sarf unless they're a total posh twat with a speech impediment who can't say "th" 🤣

Sanford is the smaller airport in Orlando I believe. Got Gatwick almost immediately, I'm a little south west on the coast so it's my local airport. Never flown out of the others and unless I visit Aberdeen some day don't see that I ever would. I have family in Teesside but if I do ever get around to visiting them I wouldn't fly as that's a very small airport with few flights.
