Hey Coach, do you have any good drills to teach the read and mesh on this? Our QB is struggling mightily

Timothy Bell Center- QB & RB only with Coach playing the DE. 10 minutes after practice everyday until QB masters it.

@@CoachJoeSalas I've been doing that since early August. We were just approved to actually start real practice about a month ago, and it's been a struggle during our inside run period for some reason. We will keep chopping wood. My backup QB actually is better at it, but he's a young pup that I don't want to throw into the fire.

I don't know if you have anything that hits A-Gap in your offense, but we installed A-Gap power, and when my young QB makes the read on A-Gap power read it definitely looks like it adds another dynamic to the play. Especially if teams are used to you guys mostly hitting C-Gap with the traditional read.

QB stays square and has 2 shuffle steps to make the decision on DE.
