Күн бұрын

Extremely extensive coverage of the Thursday Arrivals and Rehearsals day from Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 held at RAF Fairford.
Almost everything is featured on this video including the blockbuster items doing their rehearsals - Qatari F-15s, Soloturk, Saab Gripens from Sweden and Czechia and many more . . .
Fast arrivals include the most F16's for many years including the Moroccans, the Jordanians, the Romanians, and many more. Also an increasing number of F-35 stealth fighters are present, plus the usual array of Gripens, Eurofighters, and the lovely A4 Skyhawk.
Larger arrivals included Hercs of many variants, RAF Airbus Voyager, KC-10a Extender, and more . . .

Hey, are flares banned in RİAT or something? Because SoloTürk usually uses a lot of flares during their displays
@airshowvision
@airshowvision Ай бұрын
Sadly the UK has stupidly strict rules on EVERYTHING which might cause one or more of us to possibly injure ourselves and yes flares are tightly controlled, but not actually banned as such. I believe the operator has to prove that they can store them safely, which is crazy considering RAF Fairford is a major weapons base!

@@airshowvision there are no CFTs, theyre removed for the demo. but beyond the better engines theres also FBW systems, those MAWS in those triangle housings sitting just below and in between the pilot and WSO and a new cockpit with one massive MDF in the middle insteal of three small ones. no wide angle hud tho like in the F-15E

@@airshowvision It's not at all completely different from the USAF version. First, the USAF has several different variants of the F-15. Second, the F-15QA built for the Qatari military is the precursor of the USAF's F-15EX. The F-15EX is the USAF's new F-15 baseline, and includes the same engines as the F-15QA.

@@airshowvision Claiming the F-16 would be a game changer in Ukraine, must be one of the dumbest things anyone could claim. What will they be? Game changer log number: 869? LMAO! Seriously, though, just what could the F-16 achieve in Ukrainian airspace, today? Or in fact, how long could an F-16 survive in Ukrainian airspace, more to the point? I'd have to estimate the F-16, would have a combat life expectancy, of less than 30 minutes over Ukraine, (and that's extremely generous). You only need to understand what it would be facing? Regardless, that we already know the F-16 can't survive against the S-300 anti-air defences, it would then need to survive against, for example, a SU-35E? So, how could it survive, is the only real question that matters? It's once again, and as always, only a lack of understanding about today's modern military world. The SU-35E, is classified a "4++ Generation Fighter" though its true capabilities go well beyond the original/current crop of 4 & 4+ Generation mounts, like the F-15, F-16, F-18, Eurofighter Typhoon, French Dassault Rafael etc. The SU-35E has a forward and rear-facing Phazotron radar system capable of simultaneous tracking of 34 targets up to 92 miles, (even over extremely uneven terrain). Its cockpit design contains a colour CRT display unit, as well as HUD (Head-Up Display unit) along with digital fly-by-wire (FBW) capability, equipped with quadruple redundancy - (the onboard computers will always find four different ways to achieve the desired results of its combat mission). Its avionics also include an Irbis-E passive phased array radar system. The SU-35E, only falls short of the standard adopted for true 5th Generation, by its lack of stealth. Yet, as we've all seen, the SU-35E's tactical value has increased massively, and its overall combat ability has broadened considerably. Meaning, the F-16, is, in effect, an obsolete, unusable aircraft in Ukraine, (and in every way imaginable), and the US must know this, really. And that shows us all, the real level of desperation we are really seeing from the USA, today.

@@airshowvision What is it, you think you could ever achieve by talking nothing but uneducated idiocy about these aircraft? Why is it that either you know nothing about these aircraft, or you're only hiding the obvious truth? The F-35B, was claimed to be a stealthy single engine multirole combat aircraft, that unlike the Harrier, would be supersonic, stealthy, with modern avionics systems, and like the Harrier, would be VTOL capable. This is why the British originally designed the two carriers without ramps. Only one of the biggest technical headaches, the British always had when building the Harrier, was the VTOL, - transferring from "lift" (downward nozzles), to forward flight (rear-facing nozzles), to then fly away from the lift-off. Apparently to achieve it took the British a hell of a lot of technical work, (three - four months at a time, over 3 years). Look up all the variants they made, but they never gave up, and they finally figured it out. I made the claim long before we saw the F-35B, that it wouldn't be VTOL capable, (even with the Rolls-Royce lift engines), because, the US has tried to produce and build a VTOL combat aircraft many times before, only they've failed each time, only ever managing to produce and build the British AV-8 Sea Harrier, able to do so. Every US airframe (and there have been many), have all failed. Copy and paste “2013 MCAS Yuma Air Show - AV8B Harrier Demo” into KZbin search. At 7 mins, 50 seconds, you'll watch a Harrier performing a proper VTOL. You'll see it lift off vertically, and then fly away from the lift-off, and you'll see the transfer of nozzles take place. Yet, you'll not find any footage anywhere, of the F-35B performing a full VTOL. Yet Lockheed Martin do claim it is VTOL capable, when it, so clearly, is not. Copy and Paste “First F-35B Vertical Takeoff Test” into KZbin search. You'll see it lift off, only then you'll see it return straight back down from the lift-off. You'll never see it fly away from the lift-off! Believe me, if it could, we'd see footage of it doing so everywhere - like we still see on all the footage of the Harrier doing so. But you'll not find any footage, anywhere, of the F-35B performing a VTOL. Believe me, if they could, we'd have footage everywhere of them doing so, but you'll not find even one piece of footage of them ever performing a VTOL. They're supposed to be carrier-based aircraft, now meaning, any slight damage to the deck or ramp, and they're unable to get the aircraft airborne! Defeating the entire purpose of having the aircraft in the first place! You can't ever lose an entire carrier, in battle, for only minor damage?, I mean goodness me, whatever next? So, why is the US lying about this? It's obviously because, the US is still a country that's never managed to produce & build a VTOL fighter aircraft. Britain did so in the late 50s, Russia did so in the late 60s, the USA has tried and failed numerous times, so it seems this time, they're going to try to lie about it. That country is a travesty, man! But it does show us, that Lockheed do indeed produce propaganda aircraft, as the F-22 is exactly the same... A failed aircraft, so today, only being used for propaganda purposes! Typical US propaganda, usually consists of silly falsehoods, fake misinformation claims, or just twisted truths, like the F-15, is said to be unbeaten in air-to-air combat? It's true (ish), only when we look at every aircraft shot down by an F-15, we find that none had any offensive capabilities, most had little if anything defensive, many without even a basic radar, meaning, you'd be absolutely stunned, if the F-15 didn't shoot every one of them down! So it's just a meaningless remedial propaganda claim. However, there is another aircraft, that's also unbeaten in air-to-air combat, that has faced off against aircraft just as capable, and just as well armed as itself, (only it's not American, so you'll never hear about it). The British Sea Harrier, is actually, the (only) aircraft unbeaten in air-to-air combat, that has faced off against worthy, viable opposition. And that really is a huge factor, that's worth knowing, unlike the F-15 propaganda claim, that you'd be shocked if it hadn't managed. You never see the delusional Americans questioning why the US government made it illegal to sell the F-22? The US government, seemingly want it believed, that because it's so good, they don't want anyone else to have it. Yet, that actually makes no sense at all, none, not even a little sense. As the facts are, they've no idea what's just around the corner in new modern military technologies, (and with the speed we're seeing so much new hi tech military tactical hardware being designed, developed, and created today), it could have made great sense to sell the F-22 at some stage. (If it actually works). If it worked, they'd have been able to recoup many of the resources spent on the aircraft, if not the resources in their entirety, even a profit! Yet, as always, there's another, and much more likely, reason the USA made it illegal to sell the F-22. If it is, just as I suspect it is, a "lemon", that was intended to be their leading front line strike aircraft, (that's failed), yet because of the cost/expense, to design and build them, they can't just write it off. So the US have then only used the F-22 for propaganda purposes? Then what better way of preventing anyone else from finding out, that it actually doesn't work, and really is a lemon, than making it illegal to sell? Logically thinking, that's the only real possible reason the USA made it illegal to sell the F-22. -- It can only be, because it's a failed aircraft that was intended to be their leading front line 5th generation strike aircraft. Well 20 years, the US have had the F-22 in service, and they've been in wars the entire time, yet they've never used it, not once! And even more telling, was, after Russia arrived in Syria in 2015, the US removed every F-22 from right across the Middle East... Iraq, Tukey, UAE and Jordan. Absolutely no doubt about it, I guarantee that we'll never see the F-22 involved in any real war scenario, or even involved in any major sortie, because it's basically junk. They've even trashed all the infrastructure they had in place to build more of them.
