OMG, I enjoyed this airshow immensely!!! Thank you all who are or have served our country!! My dad served in the U.S. Army & was in WWII. He wasn't anything fancy except he was General Patton's driver & couldn't believe his nastiness, like kicking his bulldog down the freaking steps!!! My dad was a stand-up hero in my eyes!! RIP Daddy! We miss & love you so much!!! 😇💙🙏🏻🇺🇸✝️🕊💐🌹🪖🎖

AF here. My brother is a retired AF Colonel. For 22 yrs he flew the F-16 & F-18. He was also a Thunderbird pilot. These pilots are the best in the world.

I was stationed at El Centro from 1978 to 1981 with VA-174 Det El Centro. Once the Blue Angles got their routine down over the desert training range they then switched to flying a practice show as much as four times a day. Sometimes on the Day shift we actually got to see them fly the show three times. I never got tired of watching them. Of course this was when they were still flying the A-4. So much change during my 41 years in the Navy.

So proud to see a pilot from VFA-106 join the Blue Angles. I was an E-5 ADJ with VA-106 Gladiators. We made two WestPac cruises flying the A4 Skyhawks. Keep up the Gladiator tradition. God bless all the pilots.

When my husband was stationed at Selfridge ANG Base, the Blue Angels were at the base practicing for an air show. The Lt Commander had me sit with him near the runway while he communicated with the Air Traffic Controller's. We were on the edge of the runway. It was an experience of a lifetime and such a privilege!! Thank you Lt Commander Dobeck!!!

I got to work on Fat Albert back in 2005. It had stopped at LRAFB and we helped them out with a few things. It was pretty cool. First time seeing the JATO system installed on a C-130. Their toolboxes were super nice, too lol 😂

Always love your videos because you often pull back to show the context of the maneuvers, how close to the ground, other aircraft, etc. This is especially evident when all the jets converge at show center from 6 different directions. And the season is just starting, keep it up!!!

Fantastic video, thankyou Spencer for sharing. Is fast becoming my favourite team. Here in the UK, the Red Arrows have gone off the boil, in my opinion. Their ageing Hawks don't help. The Blue Angels put on a great show from start to finish 👏

I agree, quite surprised they haven’t changed to the Typhoon or F-35 but give it time, like you said the Hawks have pretty much had their day now. That said they were excellent at Fairford last year.
