Good on you for taking the high road! Its GAH, what'cha gonna do? I played there last weekend and had a similar thing happen. I was in the Southern most 45 degree conex playing boarder war and this guy is chicken winging like crazy so his elbow come around the corner first and I shot it twice and then he comes around and shoots me like 5 times in the left hip. I asked if he was gonna call his hits and he just said, "No." So no you aren't gonna call your hits which means yes you're a cheater? Like you said, its airsoft. GAH is getting worse for this kind of stuff. Playing on Sunday is usually better, but its hard to say. You guys should come out to Dynamic Paintball in Aurora (East of Gun Club Rd, a few miles out on Jewel Ave) for their Last Saturday of the Month airsoft games. Its usually a great bunch of people that play. The field there has had some really nice improvements as well. Their CQB are called, "Houses" is so fun! A lot of really decent players go there and we always have a great time because of the people. Never any of this BS of who shot who first. Its just a good time.

Yeah there's not much else you can do except try and set the right example. 🤷‍♂️ It's always fun to go and play with friends still. Just can't take it too seriously. I will definitely have to come check it out! Hard for me to get Saturdays off for work, so I'm kinda stuck with Sundays, but we are planning on heading to FAF next time. @@LoneTreeMilsim yeah, PB out there is king. We are working with them to allow more airsoft. As well as teaching their refs about airsoft. You can always tell when they know nothing about our game when they put us in a tiny corner of the field and then we tell them that there is no reason for us to move forward because we can shoot each other from our spawns. They look at us like, "BullShit!" PB guns have very little range compared to airsoft guns. We always get out way and often times the ref just stand there and watch us anyway. It's more of a self governing thing. And besides, there are no cheaters amount us so that's never an issue. Everyone in a while some newer players come out and we take them aside and explain the game to them. They usually get it real quick and learn to call their hits. We all have highly tuned guns and can make their time out there not a lot of fun, but we don't destroy them. Just talk about it afterwards is best and then they change their ways. Like I said, it's a great time with none of the BS.

It sounds great, there is nothing better than playing with friends and people you know. I host games down by Cheyenne sometimes and it's always friends. It's wayyy more fun and fair. No one gets angry.

Honestly, I think what you did with your teammate - crouching next to each other and reviving each other every few seconds - borders on cheating as well. What did YOU expect the opposing team to do to take you out? Someone HAD to get into close combat to take you both out. Otherwise such a position is unfair. It's good that you pay attention to fairness, but that's just as unfair play, even if it was technically allowed in your game mode. But please don't take my comment as a condemnation. Being new to the game myself, I have no experience of what tactics and practices are totally common. I probably would have just turned around and looked for another spot and other opponents. How do you get a camper out of cover? You run away until he sits there alone and has to change his position. My opinion.

You are 100% correct, The game mode has a huge fundamental flaw in its medic system. It inherently leads to camping because you get trapped. At this point in the game it was probably 8 v 50. So my team was stuck. But we were playing to the rules given to us, so not cheating, but I guess exploiting the rule maybe? But the opposing team was also doing the same thing, so we couldn't engage and advance fairly either. I personally think the rule needs changed to limiting revives by the same teammate to just 1. Or increasing the revive timer drastically.

Dude I 100% agree. At minimum 30secs. But I honestly think changing the rule to, 'you can only be revived by a specific teammate once' would do wonders. This game type is fun, but has some fundamental flaws.

The reviving wasn't the cheating lol, it's how literally everyone was using the rule. It was the first guy shooting while dead, second guy getting hit and not calling it 🤷‍♂️

The first guy yes. But the second guy is basically doing the same thing you are with two teammates next to him. With you being hit I’m surprised you are still able to reach around a corner to help your teammate revive you. While the guy in the green and everyone else that gets hit in your video stop moving .
