Airstream 534 walk through

Nobody will notice that this was released second in the series to the 604 which went first... ;)
In the second of four videos presenting the UK Line-Up of Airstream Travel Trailers (despite calling it the first in the video!), Dougal and I visit Lowdhams of Nottingham, the UK's only dealership for new UK Airstreams, and we look at the Airstream International 534.

Hi Andrew, watched your 604 video on Calmac ferry to Barra, just watched your 534 on Barra, called in at Airstream on the way up to Scotland, would love an Airstream, seriously thinking of the 534. Onto Uist next, after Barra, fantastic scenery, can see why you love the area.

Nothing wrong being being out of order - waiting on the 25IB review and will someone one consider at Airstream a Eurospec 25FB layout so we can get the back door/hatch!! in fact it would be useful to show the the height/widths with a end view as 25IB as you illustrated with 534-684 forgot to photograph on my own trip to view in July - wife likes the 604 but I am for the IB (or FB) once it has a few tweaks

Hi David, it was by luck and not judgement that the 534 and 684 were together. I'm not going to start trying to move 2.4t trailers on my own in a busy caravan yard!!! The 25IB (video out Sunday) is the first new Euro-specific model in about 10 years, and I believe it is the first of a couple of new floor plans that may be entering the Euro market, to make them a little less different from the US models. But I have no intel on what layouts are being worked on I'm afraid.

Brit living in the US here: Its really interesting to see all the differences in the UK models. Almost bought a US 28 foot model to bring back to England after I retire, but they are all 8'6" wide, and not really legal there :-( Curious if the price is the price in England though? When you buy an Airstream in the US, the aim is to get 30% off the MSRP when you negotiate with a dealer which makes all the difference....

30%??!! Wow, I wish! When I bought my Airstream I was squarely told 'no deals' even though I was in the business. But this was 12 years ago by agents who are no longer Airstream dealers.

The 25IB is the first new EU/UK Airstream in over 10 years. My guess is that with the hybrid chassis and styling, reverting to the US style of naming the trailers could be a nod to the fact it's more American and less European, if that makes any sense?

Was interested to see this one inside have seen a few airstreams in the past and like you said you either love or hate don’t hate but definitely not my cup of tea will stick to my swift two berth the airstreams always look cold and not cosy but it’s everyone’s personal opinion

Umm, I had forgotten about this, but putting down Dougal at the end of each video tears apart the animal lovers.. The dog loves you. Could you please just acknowledge that he loves you and you love him at the end? (So instead of blaming him at the end of EVERY video for doing something wrong, could you please just think: Dougal's feeling how much he loves me inside, and say, "I love you", at the end of each video?) Please, Andrew, Pleeease.
