Airstream Heritage Center and Factory Tour in Jackson Center Ohio

Learn a little more about Wally Byam, the history of Airstreams, and how far the Airstream family will go!
We had planned to stop by "the Mother Ship", the Airstream Factory and Service Center, while we were in Ohio... we didn't plan on meeting our friends Kevin and Deborah from @OurSecondLife while we were there!

Just by random coincidence, Cindy reached out to see what part of the country they were in and found that we were all going to be in Jackson Center at about the same time. We were going to be arriving the day they were leaving, so we made a quick change/cancellation of some plans and were able to spend some quality time with quality people.
We hit up all the major sites in the village of Jackson Center (which are, as expected, all Airstream related) including the ‪@airstreamclub‬ ACI headquarters, the Airstream Heritage Center and of course the Airstream Trailer factory.
We also got to visit the adorable town of Wapakoneta (it's as fun to say as it is to visit) for a little off-camera tourism and eating.

We enjoyed our visit which was about a month after you were there. Didn’t get the trailer inspection complete for 2022 20ft Bambi until the middle of November. We live about 2 hours South of Jackson Center.

Not to far away is The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio. Lots of parking space for truck and trailer. Free entrance.

I've driven by there a few times as we had family who lived near there, but have never stopped Definitely adding to the list for next time we go through. ~D if it's free, it's for me
