Our doggie (Cappuccino) loved spending time in here with us. We don’t do full time but it would be doable if you were disciplined, for sure!

Why don’t you get a list up so that we can see all the problems with Airstream.
@SunnyApproach11 ай бұрын
Here’s the list of issues from day one; I think that’s them all! - bathroom light wouldn’t shut off (fixed) - window won’t close - drawer catches insufficiently strong (fixed) - rattling components in heater system (fixed) - faulty install of trim panel - parking brake sensor disconnects (this is a Mercedes issue, self-fixed for now) - incorrect install of screen door - leveling jacks not calibrated properly (fixed) - window shades don’t stop at correct place - rear door doesn’t close properly (Mercedes problem, will have fixed when we do first service)

I don't know if you special ordered some of the things in your vehicle, but I did like the bathroom more and some of the kitchen things I really liked, but I would have liked to have actually seen them, look at the video, some one else needs to be filming.
@SunnyApproach6 ай бұрын
Only special order items were the self-leveling jacks and the E1 package. Everything else was factory standard.

What is the going price for this?
@SunnyApproach10 ай бұрын
Between $260,000 and $320,000 USD depending on options (e.g., all-wheel drive, trim, auto-leveling jacks). Costs for paint protection and extended warranties can usually be negotiated too.

you did the refrigerator twice and you never did the bed in the back

There is a separate video just on the bed; bear with us, this whole KZbin thing was very new to us, and we wanted to find some ways to help people see more about the Airstream Interstate than the ‘commercial’.

Back the camera up so we can see
@SunnyApproach Жыл бұрын
@malikblk what would you like to see? Happy to include in another video.
@CS-hd9xu6 ай бұрын
somebody else should have been holding the camera, or you shuld have looked at it before you put it on u tube, because you are too close and we really can't see all the good ideas you have.

We’re working on a new, better video, that will also have the benefit of our experience of owning it for 9 months.

260k -300k price that really nonsense with all the problem, blood sucker airstream
@SunnyApproachАй бұрын
What is a shame is that the problems were all easily resolvable before the unit left the factory. 1.2 years of ownership now, and only one small issue now (fan motor in bathroom is dead) and we’re very happy with the flexibility we have from the E1 battery system. But for the price we paid, it should have been 100% right at delivery.
@Mudbug200011 ай бұрын
If I were you I’d take that piece of crap back to the factory! You’re definitely a customer who needs a custom built. You have an awful lot of complaints-why would you keep it?
@SunnyApproach11 ай бұрын
The dealership can fix most anything (under warranty). We have come to the conclusion that any RV is going to have ‘teething issues’ (after several decades of doing this and multiple units). At the end, the pro’s outweighed the cons for us - although we would recommend anyone making an RV purchase looks closely at everything at delivery time, and if more defects than you want to handle, then refuse delivery.

We bought a used 2020 Interstate with the 4WD, leveling jacks, air suspension, Firefly system, and all the latest MB safetytech. ( almost exactly like the one shown in the video ) We put $7000 in a bank account instead of getting the extended warranty, but really have not had any problems with ours. The house batteries will need to be changed soon for about $1600, but this was expected. We have been camping for years and found out even if you buy a tent to go camping, you will have problems that need to be addressed. Stay safe out there Mudbug.
