Airtime is a Crew Resource Management training video designed for LCRPT (Low Capacity RPT) and General Aviation operators. It includes a primary story which is accompanied by 13 short videos that examine and analyse various CRM principles (including topics such as fatigue, threat and error management and safety management systems).
The series of videos was produced by Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) as part of the "Safety behaviours: Human factors Guide for Pilots" toolkit so general aviation operators had a resource on which to base more comprehensive ground based training. The videos are not a substitue for a broader company-wide classroom-based CRM program.
Additional training materials, videos and work booklets are available from our website at www.CrewResourc... or www.flight.org.
Our podcast is at www.FlightPodca....
The video is reproduced with permission.

It doesn't appear to me that this video is intended as an introduction to CRM for those who know nothing about it, but rather a series of case studies that could be discussed in a classroom or between pilots and instructors. One of the more interesting "true to life" CRM vids I have seen.

Just watch Air crash investigation videos just to see other decisions that are made when accidents happened and learn off other people’s mistakes and technology making accidents B-737 Max.

So, if you're a struggling pilot and seek guidance or help from a professional. You have to declare it to CASA DAMES... Probably loose your job. The system is setup to encourage Pilots to not seek help. I would like to know what percentage of pilots seek professional help for depression compared to the rest of society ( I bet its unrealistically low). Whats the bet there are many struggling but don't seek help in fear of loosing their license. Many other Australian workplaces have confidential guidance counseling for workers and immediate family members.

Where was the good example of cockpit resource management? I saw none of that, but only the blooming obvious. Nothing here about CRM which is about using the crew's resources to ensure safety.

Hi chicken tikka, You still haven't answered the question. There was no explanation why they were bad examples, hence no lesson to learn. Also no description even of the concept of Crew Resource Management. So the audience is left in the dark.

Talk with your instructor. You're meant to discuss this with your instructor after you finished it.

@@TheSimCaptain talk with your instructor. Also CRM isn't just crew resource management, it's making use of your cockpit efficiently. Eg: Displays, instruments, ATC services, charts, FAC, EFAS, POH, checklists. All of these make up a safe flight. Obviously in larger jets these apply: Cockpit displays, QRH, FOM, RADAR, charts, cabin crew, other pilot(s), passengers, EFAS, ATC services, dispatch, EFAS, checklists etc. Again all of these make up a safe flight. Both the FAA and CASA have outlined single pilot operation resource management (still CRM), to be important.
